All of the representatives are knowable and quick to resolve both issues or any questions you may have.They do not keep you on the phone for a long period of time and you never get "I'll have to transfer you to my supervisor" either. The first thing I loved about SurePayroll was the customer service I received. Both when I signed up and when my first payroll was due. Their system is horrible. If you try to get ahead of the game and process your payroll early before the deadline, but then (still before the deadline) decide you want to make a change, you are out of luck. They process several times a day and you are stuck. Their customer service is unwilling to help and just tell you too bad. In order to combat this you have to wait until the last minute to process your payroll, but when you do that it's a lose/lose because they have severe system issues that risk you being able to process it on time at all. They gain from this because then you have to process an expedited payroll which of course incurs an additional service fee. Stay far away! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like it is simple, I can have direct deposit, I can get clear reports and tax compliance. It is also reasonably priced. While designed to be self service, but the support is excellent.

I write this review as my time on hold with customer support approaches 3 hrs for a very simple question. I know their support closes in 20 minutes, so I probably won't speak to anyone today after waiting nearly 3.5 hours. Oh, and their 'callback' feature doesn't work. I tried it twice yesterday, and both times they called me back and connected me immediately to someone's voicemail. No surprise that neither of them called me back after I left a message.

We signed up and used the service for a few months, then needed to make a switch to another service for technical reasons. It took us 29 emails and 14 phone calls to cancel the service. They couldn't care less about customers that desire to cancel. On the other hand, if you're thinking of singing up you will receive a phone call and/or email within minutes. But....if you want to cancel, be prepared. Canceling is about as difficult as disarming a nuclear bomb. They do EVERYTHING within their power to prevent you from canceling, including disabling the ability to cancel from within your account, refusing to return your calls and emails, hanging up on you, transferring you to a deadline, and requiring you to jump through countless hoops. I estimate their onboarding process is 100 times easier than their offboarding process, which they couldn't give two shits about.

We use SurePayroll to pay our single employee who is the main owner of the company. It solves our problems by calculating the taxes owed and making sure the payment is processed and goes through on time every 2 weeks. It has been simple to use and has done exactly what we needed it to.
I like that you can process payments early. So I usually check in once a month and take care of a few payments ahead. SurePayroll breaks down the numbers each time and shows you exactly where the companies money is going. It is very user friendly. Easy to navigate through the website and a speedy process to make sure payroll is approved. Reminder emails for the payments need to be approved are very appreciated.

I've used SurePayroll for the past six years for my community foundation, and I added it two years ago for another nonprofit org for which I volunteer. SurePayroll handles all payroll tax updates, filings, and even preps W-2s. The time I save on the HR portion of my job is incredible. I'm extremely pleased with the SurePayroll product.

We consider that although the application has some vulnerability problems, it has an excellent functionality to perform all kinds of operations in terms of payroll, payments to suppliers and withholdings of special taxpayers from anywhere for the busiest managers. The customer service section is very effective, apart from being very cordial when requesting information or support of any kind; it can be in asking for guidance in problems with payroll payments, taxes and much more without any problem. The usability of SurePayroll is really effective and easy to use, running a payroll operation and payment of the same has never been easier, the adaptation of our administration department with the application has been very fast.
The program is intuitive in nature, if any payroll representative is unable to perform the process, the system itself can guide us to complete the payments and calculations. SurePayroll sends monthly automatic emails to remind us of overdue payments, payments to be made or when a new employee has joined the company to take all pending actions and update payment data. The application takes full legal responsibility when occasional errors occur. When we have incurred by system errors in fiscal problems, they have a delegation that takes care of the situation without involving us. With SurePayroll, if you know the necessary rules, you can calculate the taxes that a company must pay and file. On the other hand, the application automatically presents a report of the taxes that are cancelled to avoid tax problems. Apart from tax payments and payroll creation and payment operations, the application files and processes payments with 1099 contractors and creates complete W-2 forms in a very practical and simple way. It is really easy to set up the statuses of incoming and outgoing employees and run related reports. Likewise, their tax processing system is above and beyond expectations.

My company started using Sure Payroll approximately three years ago. We were generally happy with the service and performance of Sure Payroll till our account was hacked in October of 2020. To make a long story a bit shorter, someone was able to log in to my Sure Payroll portal, cancel our normal payroll that was just processed and pay themselves a $10,000.00 bonus. They had also opened a new bank account and chose Direct Deposit for their method of payment. Needless to say, this created many problems, starting when Sure Payroll tried to debit my corporate checking account. I was able to stop the debit and immediately called Sure Payroll to tell them what was going on. I was told not to worry....that's when I started to worry. In December I looked at my tax filings and noticed that all filings had the fraud amount included. I called Sure Payroll again and asked to speak with a manager. The manager promised to get back to me. He later did and told me that Sure Payroll had terminated my account. I am now left with a tax mess that will take me a few weeks to correct.

I hired a nanny for our two-child nanny share. SurePayroll was the service we chose to use to pay our nanny. Two families set up accounts on SurePayroll, as we each paid half of her salary. SurePayroll cut the checks, produced payroll reports, and filed necessary tax documents.

I LOVED this company when I started with them years ago. Over the last 2 years their service has gone in the toilet. Literally just about EVERY time I have contacted them for the last 2 years I have had to sit on hold for over an hour. I am typing this review while I sit on hold (for an hour and a half according to what I was just told will be my addl hold time) because I was supposed to have access to my reports in my account that I closed through april 1 of this year. My accountant can not access, I can not access (I would think this is illegal???) and now I wait. THANK GOD I have left this group, for the extra money I am paying ADP I will SAVE so much on time lost.

Surepayroll has amazing customer support. You don't have a dedicated specialist, but no matter who you get it's great. In over 5 years I have used Surepayroll I have never had an issue with my federal or state filings. Payroll is easy to run and check for errors. After previous experience with Quickbooks and recently with Paycor, Surepayroll is definitely the superior product as far as running payrolls and staying compliant with the IRS goes.
