It has an excellent timer system capable of correctly measuring how much time a person invests in completing one of the assignments, in addition, within this section the assignments can be dragged and set a time limit for each one, the employees will not be able to complete that allocation after the delivery time has already expired. Obtaining reports is one of the most perfect things about ProjectManager since the reports can be obtained in PDF o Excel document, this helps the information obtained from the reports to be ordered in various ways so that we can analyze and understand much more easily, I love this way of obtaining reports, I have never seen a system like this before. 4. In our Real Estate company, we must have perfect planning so that the properties have a very successful sale and that the advertising reaches the appropriate clients. In our Marketing sector, the use of this software is very important, we can have complete monitoring of the participation that our employees are having in the construction of the campaigns until a campaign has already been completed, all this process has helped us to simplify it and we are very grateful for that, we will continue to use it.

    It has an excellent accounting system capable of calculating the time that a person has used to develop a task that was assigned to him, I like being able to collaborate with all my colleagues in the Finance sector through ProjectManager, I can invite them to my project and add new participants only with the email address they use. I also like obtaining reports very much, they are organized, they separate the information of each sector and count the time worked for each of the activities carried out. Additionally, I love being able to account for the financial expenses that we have in each project, the control of expenses is essential for the correct performance of the activities. There is no way to know which worker is not working or contributing to a Project. ProjectManager only shows the people who are working on activities, but it does not send me alerts when one of my colleagues is not doing their work or giving support in a project, I have to see this manually, ProjectManager does not show it. The main recommendation is that they use the Enterprise plan, it is more complete, it has the possibility of exporting reports and they do not have any limit of members for each of the projects that are being developed. We have control of multiple projects with ProjectManager, we can know the progressive progress that it has been having in real-time, we have been able to control the expenses that we have for each project and thus be able to take care of the capital of our company. In addition, we have been able to send instant alerts to workers to let them know they have new assignments, this helps us keep our industry productive.

It offers applications that include budgeting, time tracking, task management and document management and reporting. It is a solid tool but I have also noticed some notable shortcomings in the operation of the application does not have enough fields to customize the platform to your needs, a little automation would not hurt the program, does not have enough customizable templates, is scarce in communication tools despite having some to keep in touch with customers for example can not be carried out video conferencing, customer support is not very good often receive late responses from support people and does not have enough tutorials to clarify doubts.     Not good. The software itself was disqualified after spending less than 30 minutes in the trial as it's severely lacking in quality. They then continued to charge me after the "free trial" ended for months with no communication. They just want your money and do not have a good product.

    We have not used any other project management software since using ProjectManager.com.
    ProjectManager.com is a very helpful tool for managing any job, no matter the size or scheduled length to completion. But it is also another added step in the process. So you either have to implement it as part of your standard operating procedure, or you may not utilize it to its full potential.
    Creating job schedules and milestones, which we provide to our clients as well as our vendors. A one stop shop for downloading/uploading any job/site specific documents (issues, daily reports, photos, signoffs, etc.). Real time communication with your clients. As soon as an issue has been raised within ProjectManager.com, everyone attached to that job with get an email notification of what has been communicated or what document has been uploaded.
    Creating the schedule is probably the most "difficult" function to get used to. Linking each scope to one another and using different dates for each day can get a little confusing as it is relatively easy to break the links if you were to change the dates. If you have a schedule for a job that is 2 months long; if you revise your schedule to include a date change, if the link is broken it will not update the rest of the dates and remaining scopes. So you would have to figure out where the link has been broken within the schedule, or go through and change the remaining dates by hand.

    Before trialling ProjectManager.com I tended to use Microsoft Project for creating Gantt charts, and various other tools for different additional features of project management. I found Microsoft Project a little more straightforward to use at first, but possibly that's just because I was getting used to ProjectManager.com as a new user. The range of integrated within ProjectManager.com is definitely a big bonus.
    ProjectManager.com has everything that you need (and probably more) to set up and manage your projects at work. It is easy to create a list of the tasks that need to be completed and assign ownership of tasks, so that these can be tracked easily. ProjectManager.com makes it easy to create Gantt charts, Kanban boards, and project dashboards to provide further information on project progress. My only small criticism is that the range of options might be confusing for new users who aren't so familiar with project management, and that the interface could be a little simpler to navigate.

    Read above. Arrogant customer service. Deleted my account without any warning left me hanging and would not return calls or emails. I lost E V E R Y thing. Files, creative, videos, and cost me a full day of staff not having access to their data.
    Cause PM looked better value but has hidden costs. I've now gone back to Asana. Way better. Should never have moved wasted 3 full days.
    This software is great. I spend a whole day looking for an alternative to Asana. I spent two days setting it up and was super excited. I did this cause the price point looked fantastic. However, when I went to connect the API, which is mentioned in the FAQ's how to set this up, I was told I had to upgrade to ENTERPRISE. My costs would go up to x4.
    Customer service. There is no phone only and an answerphone. And the guy Derek on the end of the emails decided to delete my entire account without warning. He did this as I said the API is not mentioned in any of the features and it's in your development section and when I went to ask how to connect it he wanted me to upgrade to ENTERPRISE - then he said, 'I'll let you have it if you join to Business and pay IN FULL ONE WHOLE YEAR? Arhhhhh, that's not the way business is done? The issue I have is there is NO mention of the API connection in any of the plan features when you read through the FAQ's and Developer section, you will see clearly the system has an API. No mention that you have to pay extra. I then said its not on and there's an error in this case. I received the following email. You are not a good fit. And with that, my entire data and account was deleted. No warning, nothing. Just see you later and all the best finding another platform. Unbelevieble.

    ProjectManager.com or PM.com as we call it is very easy to use, we were able to get up and running in a very short amount of time. We have approximately 300 projects that we are managing and about 70 resources. Before PM.com we managed our projects in one system our resources in another system and our reporting from yet another system. We have been able to consolidate systems and are able to more efficiently track our projects, backlog, risks and issues. The Workload board showing the resources availability allows us to see who is available at a glance. PM.com is opened on my computer every day all day, I could NOT do my job without it. The support team and the product team are great to work with, they have a place to put in suggestions for new features and I am happy to say they have added several of my suggestions. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new system to handle their Portfolio and Project Management offices.
    There are a few features that do not work as well as I would like but I am hoping they will be updated in the near future. One area is the linking of tasks and easily being able to see the effects on the plan. MS Project does a great job of highlighting the changes. Some of the reports could use some additional filters but they have been adding to that. Overall the Pros far outweigh any of the Cons.

    I have a civil construction consulting small business that I work on during the weekends and I recently signed a free trial software package to utilize the project scheduling ghantt chart tool. Although I only had the opportunity to use it once it met my expectations. It was the same as using MPP but online rather than fixed on one computer! Packages pricing are for total number of people listed with $X per user per month. For example Business package is 20 users with $15 per user; therefore, one must pay the complete 20 X $15= $300 per month once the trial expires. You don't become charged for individual users start dates, and you can chose packages as little as 1 user.
    Can log into software on any computer as long as you have a login and password. It has a good scheduling tool. A lot of Project Management templates to choose from.
    There is no notification prior to your 30 day trial expiration and if you forget to cancel you automatically enroll into a contract and payments will be billed each month. An emailed consolidated contract agreement would be beneficial once user automatically enrolled following trial expiration.

    Detailed project planning and studio capacity management
    You can manage a project timeline, allocate people to tasks and this builds up a studio schedule which you can use to check if people's time are well utilised. The reporting tool also makes it possible to forecast into the future to see what capacity the studio is running at. It is great that it is cloud based. You can set the working days of a person and the number of hours each person works, which helps accurately plan capacity. Linking of tasks is also a helpful feature to easily update project timings.
    There are a couple of features I'd like to see incorporated, such as a different colour in the workload view for potential projects, and on the calendar RSS feed the project name needs to be included as well as the task name, otherwise all your tasks can come across with the same name (i.e. design, design, design,). I would also like to see the styling improved when you save a project plans to PDF - as they are currently very difficult to read in this format and it makes it hard to share them with clients.

    ProjectManager works very well with both large and small-scale projects. Being able to use this with anything from a project involving only two members of staff, to hundreds, has been invaluable. Creating a project plan is fast and easy, allowing a huge amount of detail and variables to be added to the plan. Their new(ish) user interface is also a welcome change, looking much cleaner and easier to navigate. It also works well on mobile devices.
    The initial learning curve was quite steep, taking myself a number of days before I was fully used to the various features available, and how to use them. The previous user-interface was really quite bad, but this has of course been fixed in their latest release! The reporting functionality could really be improved, the views it offers are rather limited and don't show all the detail.
