4.5I like that it automatically tracks everything I do on my computer. Especially how easy it is to upload tasks, either by name or by the time you did a task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
4.5I like the way Paymo has been designed. With its straightforward menu sidebar, it's easy to access everything your business needs quickly and easily. From adding users or managing subscriptions at the click of a button, to creating tasks in the 'Project' tab for members within my organisation, or working with accounting by invoicing expenses, inputting estimates and making one-off payments, I no longer have any problems keeping track of finances either as there are fantastic support systems set up that allow me to migrate from free plans to larger ones depending on what works best for my growing business - amazing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
4.0In addition, it offers additional tools rather than PPM which are billing and invoicing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
0.5On the accounting there should be a way to only bill the client once a month for multiple complete projects. It will also be good to have a prepaid option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
2.02. I've asked a couple times now for the default billing period to be configurable. It's set to 15 minute increments. I billing in 5 minute increments...so I'm forced to manually type in entries. Again, the development/support team is more than happy to take my $$ each month but not give me any functionality that I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
2.5You still have to remember to log your hours, not much customization available, and reports are sometimes off when spanning multiple months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5.0The control of the hours assigned to a project is Paymo's most useful tool. It lets you know quickly if a project is using more resources than expected.
2.0Would NOT recommend it to anyone who has even the slightest of "outside the box" process for projects or billing/invoices.

3.0overall sufficient experience. It does not create particular problems for you, nor does it give you particular satisfaction. to work in a group it's fine, as long as you don't have high customization requirements

10.0Since going freelance, I've used Paymo as my principle time tracking app for client-based work. I use it for tracking all of my projects and share the live time reports with my hourly-billed clients. Not only does the app work great, both in the web form and the mobile version, but the support team were excellent in helping me figure out how to get things set up when I first started, including helping me determine how to code certain projects so that I could offer my clients (most of whom are nonprofits) differing rates based upon the specifics of the project and its funding requirements. Even better, when the company changed their billing, after adding new features that I didn't quite need, I found that their newly-revised basic plan suited all that I needed - saving me money each month without my needing to adapt the way I'd been doing things.
The ability to code exactly what time I worked on a project enables me to bill clients more accurately and within different minimums, which besides more accurately tracking time, this has been extremely helpful as I negotiate contracts for services and offer different deals with potential clients. Some are billed to the minute, some in 15-minute minimums, and some in 20-minute blocks. The live reports are great, showing time spent in the minimums that I've set, while also including as much detail as I wish to share. I've now started just writing my notes into the tracker, which are then carried into the live reports - this eases my needing to send logs to clients, as well as helping me to keep projects on track.
10.0We use Paymo to track and bill employee time, manage customer projects and timelines, invoice for billable hours, flat-rate projects and expenses, and track our performance against projected time allowances for tasks.
9.0We use Paymo to track team members' time working on client projects. The entire company uses Paymo to do this. We even track unbillable time to track productivity.
Tracks time on a variety of projects and tasks. Keeps track of PTO days. Shows stats in graph form for easy reference.
7.0I've encouraged people in our office to use Paymo as a time tracking tool, but I doubt it's being used across our organization. It helps track time on our individual jobs, which is important to ensure that we get paid appropriately.
7.0I'm a freelance consultant providing proposal management services in the engineering/transportation space, and I use Paymo to track my time and create invoices for my clients. The main problem Paymo addresses are having a centralized, streamlined process for tracking and billing time for my many clients.
Being able to look at payments overall would be helpful -- there is a section on individual invoices that allows you to see payments made against those invoices, but it would be nice to have a simple list of payments, dates and invoices/clients to double-check my accounting records Having some automatic/already created reports or dashboard widgets that update themselves for basic queries like "time spent this week on X project" or "hours spent on X project overall" would save time -- you can create these reports, but you have to go through the entire report-creation process for each individual query (which means you get exactly what you want to see, but sometimes I don't have time to go through this whole process)
8.0We are using Paymo is a hybrid way for our Marketing and Communications departments to handle digital advertising scheduling along with coordinating the creation of assets for digital campaigns and other internal initiatives. It allows us to get a helicopter view of the month at a glance, assign projects and tasks between creative and editorial, and add comments/files to tasks and projects as the scope changes.
No way to have clients request work via forms without external integrations. No way to have clients mark up proofs of assets within the system. Project table layout categories are strange out of the box and not easy to edit (at least I haven't figured it out yet - minor flaw).

5.0I have been using Paymo for about a year now and it has changed my productivity for the better. As a Freelance PA/Project Manager I work for different companies so it is imperative that I can track my time spent on different projects and tasks. Paymo does this easily and with no fuss. Paymo is easy to set up and use. The free trial is perfect for trying out Paymo. I did just that initially and was so impressed that I had to continue with the paid version of Paymo. Once Paymo had been set up and customised I could just log onto Paymo each day and easily track time. It is easy to switch between projects too. Paymo has an overview of hours worked, unbilled amounts, milestones, discussions etc so easy to see at a glance progress per project. At the end of each month I use Paymo to easily invoice my clients. Just one click of a button to invoice unbilled time, check the invoice and send by email! Easy. Paymo then keeps a list of invoices sent out which can be updated to show status. The invoice itself looks very professional and I easily added a company logo. There are custom settings to save the text to be used when sending out invoices. Customer Service is impeccable, on the few occasions I have needed to ask a question I have had fast, helpful responses and have always been dealt with very professionally and quickly. I highly recommend using this project management software, it is time saving, quick, easy and can do an awful lot to assist with the admin side of running a business. I wouldn't be without it! Thank you Paymo!
5.0I started a business earlier this year. My budget was very tight, but I also knew what I needed in terms of a time tracking app. I searched around for a free app, and found Paymo after trying a few others first. Paymo was the easiest to start using immediately and had the functionalities I needed. Even the free version of it had what I was looking for. Actually, the app gave me more than I was looking for. The best part of it? It provides all the functionality you need but also doesn't take forever to learn how to use. That's important to me, because I just don't have the time to study all the apps I need. Soon, I will become a paying client, but I am writing this out of gratitude. I am amazed that Paymo offers a free version and it's definitely the one I will stick with when I can afford to start paying for the upgraded version. Thank you Paymo, for helping a small start-up company like mine!
4.0My overall experience with Paymo software has been very positive. It is an efficient and user-friendly project management tool that helps to streamline processes, keep everything organized, and ensure that all of our team tasks are tracked properly. We are using Paymo to solve the problem of having a lack of visibility into our team's workload and progress. By using Paymo, we can keep our projects on track and ensure deadlines are met. Additionally, we can track the time spent on each task, which helps us to optimize our resources and ensure that our clients are getting the best value for their money. We have also been able to improve communication and collaboration between our team members by using Paym's chat feature. The benefits we have realized include better project management, improved communication and collaboration, and increased efficiency.
5.0With Paymo I am able to solve problems and experience benefit. With the project tab I am able to see all of my projects, whether they be complete, inactive, archived, etc. I am also able to view tasks and task lists in different ways that allow me to effectively organize and plan my work day. Invoicing has become easier, as I am able to assign a client to an invoice and have it sent directly to the client's email address. Since my business is mostly run by rates, Paymo's time tracking feature along with the app helps me effectively track my time to charge my clients with the most accurate price. This also helps me with time sheets and time reporting, allowing me to plan for future clients to completely maximize profit.
5.0For me, I see that Paymo has helped increase the productivity of all members of the work team, by reducing the time that was wasted on them in office work, and allocating more time to field work, which has a positive impact on the final result for sure. I also find that Paymo helps companies produce realistic, executable programs, as everyone's participation in the formation of the work program will make all things become clearer to everyone, thus avoiding making mistakes that may cost losses in money and time.
5.0Using Paymo has been a great way to track your time in the background, as long as you're thorough for the initial set up. I always make sure to have the app running to track any window, program, and file that I have open. It's even easy to go in after the fact and add unlinked entries to specific projects. I've had to retrain myself on file naming, so that Paymo tracks the correct files for each project, but after developing a naming system I've found my process to be extremely streamlined with Paymo.

4.0We've been with Paymo for 3 months so far but the results have already showed up. We mainly use the progress board for segmenting our work in phases and identyfing bottlenecks before it's too late (columns get to be crowded at the implementation phase). Without it it would be impossible to visualize our workflow. The scheduler is also something that we use in order to establish the work capacity of each member. We can see who's overbooked or not and determine how to allocate them in the most...
5.0Hey, everyone, I use **Paymo** already for 2 months and I find the application is useful for me. It absolutely suits me as to a freelancer and I see it's ideal for small and middle projects. The only thing I should do manually is the profit calculation. I think It can be crucial in case of a huge number of projects in parallel. It costs its own money for sure. I recommend this app to all who cannot choose the app to manage their work. Best, Sergey
4.0Solid app for contractors and employers to track time spent on various tasks. Being able to add manual time blocks if you forget to start it as well as idle time if you forget to turn it off. Would be nice to be able to search by task name instead of just project (if you're unsure which project a specific task is in) but besides that a nice program. Native app for macOS is nice so you can close the website and still track.
5.0In our digital agency, ONLINE TORO consulting, we chose as management app paymo and we are very satisfied. We needed a way to accurately track the time we spent on client projects. Paymo is a great helper for tracking time. This app is easy to use and accurate time tracking. I can say that paymo is a great indicator of our work for our clients. I recommend everyone who needs to improve their time management.
5.0Paymo is an awesome way that my company has been keep track of time. I love that I can manually add in things, and also click a start button to track time. My favorite feature is that I can track my time according to my task. Then later I can go see what I spent my time on! Love it!
5.0The thing with Paymo at this website is there is no alternative to Paymo. This tool has been delivering consistently for so many years for us did there is no alternative to it. Keep rocking guy at Paymo!
