We paid to have a company set the system up for us but I was able to find (on my own) where to make chagnes and modifications which has made this system very intuitive to use. 2.0I've been installing Vtiger CRM on Linux servers for the best part of six years. Unfortunately, I recently had to bid a fond goodbye to the technology in favor of the much more powerful breed of SaaS CRM that most companies are now using. Installing Vtiger, whether manually or through Softaculous, is a fairly straightforward process. I used to make extensive use of field customization and developing workflows and they would work fine so long as the Cron job would go off on time. Recently, however, key features have just stopped working for me across various web hosts. In my most recent instance, I couldn't send manual email, and neither I nor my host could debug the server-side issue. I still think that Vtiger open source has a lot to offer, but for those that need a seamless and advanced solution then this is, in my opinion, not the right tool for the job.

5.0I use Vtiger CRM in my company to manage sales leads. I have call center where agents make calls to potential customers. Once they find prospects, they in put data in Vtiger CRM. Not only that, they also follow up with them. Finally they make appointment for our sales and marketing team. As there is a history of communication it becomes easy to understand the customer. Finally after making the sale this leads converts into a conversion. Management can keep real time monitors on daily activity.

5.0We use Vtiger in managing our client. From Database, to quote creation up to orders and collection. One software from Sales to Operation to Collection. Also, we use this in extracting data for our reporting.

4.5I have a demo copy of Vtiger and several of my clients use Vtiger. In the case of my clients, they generally use vTiger as a better solution than MailChimp for their newsletters. In the case of one client, they use vTiger to run their organization as they are a membership society, and they have integrated Vtiger with their website.
Vtiger is a sophisticated database similar to SugarCRM but easy to use for people who are not computer experts. SugarCRM has a very complex user interface compared with Vtiger. It is easy to add fields and to create rules or pick lists and thereby tailor the system to your requirements. Vtiger is a powerful email marketing system with more facilities than MailChimp and considerably less expensive per email sent once your database reaches the size at which MailChimp begins to charge. Vtiger, therefore, represents a good upgrade path from MailChimp. It is very easy to import and export data to and from Vtiger, which has excellent deduplication tools built in. It is also easy to manipulate data within Vtiger, something that is almost impossible with MailChimp.
3.5We are using several facets of vTiger in several different areas of the company. In the beginning and through to this day, we use vTiger as our primary CRM system for managing all of our sales related activities for both our clients and prospective clients. Recently, since we are a professional services organization, we have started to use the ticketing system to create workflows between the sales and audit department to ensure projects are created and assigned appropriately. In addition, we use the projects section to manage the client projects from beginning through to the end, with constant notifications from the auditors to the sales team.
Confusing - Finding where to put information can be confusing at times and can lead to frustration. Reporting - While the ability to create a ton of reports is nice, navigating the reporting tool is a bit overwhelming, especially in the beginning. CRM Notifications - I am a bit old school in that I want to be able to schedule a time to follow up with someone in our CRM system at a specific data and time and receive a pop-up notification when that time comes. With vTiger, I have not found a way to do this and when I ask to be notified, I get notified instantly, not at the time I want to follow up.
3.5VTiger is used for our company's CRM. I use Vtiger to pull product data and to match up product groups across the organization. I also input the keywords for other teams to use when setting up the products for retail. It's the piece of collaborative software that holds all of our true, this-is-it source-of-truth product information. We are still using this while we are also using Syndigo.
Though you can create reports however you want, they may need to come out in multiple files. I wish this could be aggregated. It's still very simple. There is room for improvement with the setup of the admin panel. The dropdowns function funny when scrolled down. It's picky but it's frustrating. The search function could be improved.
3.5We have used three different CRMs in our small business. We currently use VTiger because it combines email integration, email campaign tools, quote capability, invoicing, and payment capability into one tool. This avoids a lot of duplication and allows our salespeople to carry the customer through the entire process. Other CRMs required add-ons and exporting to other services in order to meet our sales and marketing needs.
The user interface is sometimes cumbersome. It is definitely evident that UI maturity is not top-of-mind to the developers.

5.0I have all the clients info in vtiger but the more important info that I save are quotes and invoices, when I want to plan some strategy I just have to prepare some reports form the tool so I know how was the interaction with a specific client the last quarter.
4.0Overall experience with Vtiger CRM is good as it is fulfilling our current requirements of managing contacts and other CRM supported activities just if the customer support service happens to be to better than it would have been perfect CRM.
4.0I'm very happy with vTiger although it is not SalesForce. You feel you are working with a company who cares about you and try for all means to help you to improve your business.
