The customizable application process, saving requisitions as templates and the one-click job posting. That the screen does not automatically refresh and that you have to switch screens in order to refresh the Requisition List. Sometimes when I do an instant upload on the Req and then go to the tear sheet, the resume is not there and it takes awhile before it is there. ClearCompany is not the most powerful system out there, but it certainly provides the features that would be beneficial to any small to mid-sized company without breaking your budget. Good ROI with ClearCompany. Automating the application process and the ability to utilize the one-click job posting feature with job target.

Easy to use and service has been good!!! nothing-we have gotten what we paid for. It is doing what it is designed to do. We now have an orderly efficient system for applicant tracking and more. I wish our managers would use it more and then we might use more features!

Not good. They do not deliver a product like you see in your sales demo. Make sure you get a good termination clause clearly written in your contract if you decide to move forward with this company.

Software is good but unethical business practices on trying to do add on costs without disclosing in the contract is unethical and illegal. If you have found this in your agreement, we should strongly consider a joint litigation against the company. This is rediculous.

Try something, we have buyers remorse, we are already looking into trying something new once our agreement ends.

We went with ClearCompany based on their level of customer service. Paycom is who we use for our payroll and other HR tasks, but, the level of service and price was the reason we went with ClearCompany. They've been extremely attentive, have customized almost everything to fit our needs, and have offered training and perks along the way. Paycom is great, but, it doesn't stack up to the level of customization, ease-of-use, or services that ClearCompany provides. I don't think we'll be making a change anytime soon.
The security guard services industry is very fluid and always changing. Our company is growing at rapid pace and it's comforting to know that I have a program in ClearCompany that allows me to customize my requisitions to fit our new accounts across the country. I'm able to target specific areas based on zip code that will post to sites such as Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkUp, ZipRecruiter, Monster, and our Facebook page. These mediums allow us to cast a wider net and attract qualified candidates in specific areas. It gives our company the edge over competitors who have historically failed at attracting top quality talent. I absolutely love using ClearCompany!
Real-time updates shared across the software with remote users. It allows us to effectively manage and track candidates workflows and status within the onboarding process. This helps us effectively communicate and keep hooks in the candidate without having them fall through the cracks. ClearCompany is able to customize and report to fit our company. We are in a particular industry where our time to fill, hiring costs and other metrics vary from time to time. In order to get an accurate report, ClearCompany has gone above and beyond to customize our reports and give us the data we need with a click of a button. ClearCompany is always in constant communication and willing to assist. The feedback from the support team is almost instantaneous. I have the direct number to my customer care agent and her manager as well. It's nice to know they are there to help at a moment's notice. The support team has a great chat feature that allows me to send a message while i'm on the phone. They are quick to respond and always friendly.
The newly revised interface has been helpful but at first, was difficult to navigate. Once I knew where everything had moved to, it was very easy to navigate through the menus and options. There isn't much else that i'd like to add to this. All of my previous issues have been resolved or shown to me. I don't have anything negative to say about ClearCompany!

ClearCompany has a lot of fresh ideas and functionality, but the system doesn't compare to any of the previous ATS systems I have used, and this is based on basic user interfaces and ease of use. ClearCompany doesn't have options set in place to keep companies compliant, and the lack of tracking in the system leads to many problems (i.e. our hiring manager's activity isn't easily tracked, so if they change a field i.e. compensation, there is no way to track it).
ClearCompany has a lot of new features that assist companies in keeping up with the changing landscape of online recruitment of qualified candidates. It is easily linked to job boards such as Indeed and has options like email interview requests and texting, which assist recruiters to touch more candidates in less time. ClearCompany is not for larger companies that have hundreds of hourly positions i.e. Retail Industry. It doesn't have adequate reporting or tracking of candidates' statuses, which are key for companies that size, since they usually have 20+ recruiters and members of talent acquisition. Our company recently fully staffed our recruitment team to 6 members and we are already having issues with the functionality and our number of seats, but the resolution has been longer than desired from ClearCompany.
Dedicated staff to assist with implementation and questions; a Messenger option for businesses to connect with representatives Text and email interview request functionality for added convenience for employers to contact prospective candidates Less expensive ATS option for smaller companies
Implementation can be very lengthy and not always feasible for companies looking for a speedy integration Functionality of program overall is very antiquated. Response time is typically okay, but the time frame for resolutions to issues with the system can be over a span of weeks. Not as user-friendly as other comparable ATS; missing a lot of basic bells and whistles that make the system easy to navigate.

We switched from Hireology to ClearCompany, mainly for the price point. We also felt that CC could offer a bit more of a custom ATS. There are moments, though, where our management team feels that they received more applicants with Hireology than ClearCompany. I think part of the push back is since we changed our process of screening applicants, though, and the managers don't get their hands on them the second they apply.
Overall, ClearCompany has been a useful tool for our Company to streamline our applicant tracking process. We like having all of our applicants/candidates in one central location online vs. numerous different job engine websites, and having to access 5+ various job boards to review candidates. We do receive a few complaints regarding the ease of use from our management team. We were with a different applicant tracking system prior, and they seemed to like that a bit better. ClearCompany has made many improvements since we've been with them. They have excited their interview scheduling process and made specific changes within the administrative task area that allows for easier bulk replies, navigation, etc. We do find that they are the middle man when it comes to client relations between the larger job engines (indeed, zip recruiter), and when there is a problem posting a job to zip recruiters site to be specific, solutions are few and far between. We still have an ongoing problem with our candidates being automatically moved into a particular workflow when they don't complete their phase one application, which is causing more manual work on our part.
Provides one stop for all job posting sites. Organized workflows which are able to be customized.
Client relationships with job posting engines seem to lack. Grading scales could be a bit more robust.

I migrated our HR/Recruiting department to ClearCompany from a more expensive Legacy ATS that was showing its age and cost much more. Beware of a few things. First, while they aren't a bad software suite, they aren't great, and suffer from not being particularly good in any one aspect compared to competitors, whether its functionality, features, price, etc. They do, however, have a great sales team that is prepared to sell their product as the next great thing. They also spent a lot of money on help modules (professional Youtube clips) and making their software aesthetically pleasing. However, when in actual use, the software is not as good as the image would lead you to believe. It is one of the more glitchy pieces of HR software I've ever used with experience in excess of over 10 ATS/HRIS/CRM/etc. Using it is not intuitive, from selecting dispositions, to making changes, to posting ads, to running reports. For the price, it in the lower half of pricing for equivalent ATS software packages, but on the high end of that, and each additional option and login costs a lot. There are a lot of competing products that are easier to use, less prone to malfunctions, and cheaper. While an HR department probably wouldn't hate this product, since it does work, there are absolutely better products in both directions, both at a higher price point with more functionality, as well as at lower price points with equivalent functionality.
The portal is aesthetically pleasing, with a very modern design approach. It is priced decently, although not great, cheaper than large vendors like Taleo, etc., but there are cheaper options that offer roughly the same functionality (and some better). They remain focused on compliance and update standardized forms. The Onboarding side is better than their ATS.
Nickel and dime for every extra item. Additional user seats are expensive. Data migration from previous ATS is expensive. Changes to the format, questions, dispositions, stages, etc. are not easy and it is hard to tailor to your company/department's specific individualized needs. In order to make it pretty, they made it very difficult to change formatting. In addition, if you require ClearCompany to make a change, it takes a while and costs a lot. Controls are pretty, but aren't intuitive. They are NOT GoogleforJobs compliant. When I last asked them for an update in 2017, they stated it wasn't necessary and had only the most vague understanding of why this was important. Their mobile optimization is horrible and frequently has issues. Their ATS is glitchy.

Overall I've been really impressed with this ATS system. I'd never used it before, and it is a very robust system with a lot of features. It was easy to learn, and it's easy to make minor changes to templates and forms when needed. The customer support is better than what I've experienced with other ATS systems.
It is easy to learn, has many features, and allows you to easily track applicants. We also use it to send offer letters, initiate onboarding activities, and schedule interviews. There are many features in one platform, and it is straightforward to learn how to use the features. We have a dedicated account manager whom we can contact when we have to escalate issues, and they also have an online chat feature with customer service.
Sometimes the reporting is not consistent with results after you run a query, and the applications sometimes get submitted in different formats based on the method the applicant uses to apply. Also, sometimes the customer service team doesn't give a complete answer to your question.

I feel it is a useful system that still needs some 'work'. I have used many ATS' and I do feel this one is very easy to follow, not complicated for candidate profiles or job posts.
The candidate tracking. The Requisition page. Adding job posts is easy to follow and allows tracking of time to fill. The Workflow helps organize applicants easily.
Applicants that apply on Indeed, the resumes to flow over to Clear Company. This causes almost double work on transferring resumes over to CC manually. Under the Recruiter page, to search for candidates, it needs to have phone, email search option - ON THIS Page, not to have to go to another page.

Multi-use system with a lot of great features. Makes onboarding and reaching out to candidates a breeze.
Clear company is so easy to navigate and keep track of applicants and employees. All you need to go through the recruiting and onbarding processes.
Sometimes it does run slow and that is hard on busy days when its utilized the most.
