The software works fine besides thsese issues but I can't give more than 2 stars as I don't expect these kind of issues from a more mature product with the resoruces that Odoo has. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Odoo is a complete ERP business management software, with an embedded CRM system. It is used by several stores in the organization. My IT colleagues and I use Odoo primarily to manage IT projects, services, acquisitions, sales, and miscellaneous notes. With Odoo we have more control of the projects, and we optimize our time. One of the most important things is the reports too, which are customizable and complete.

Well I'am an Odoo consultant and also an Odoo user, internally at our company we use it for Sales, E-commerce, marketing, HR, Projects, Recruitment, CRM and more.
Accounting is the core of Odoo, it started as an accounting software back in the days when it was called TinyERP, the key value added in the accounting is the usability, so far now in the market, there is no accounting software as user-friendly as Odoo Scalability, Odoo is highly customizable by developers and end users, once installed with a little bit of practice and training users can maintain Odoo by themselves.

Odoo is used as the main ERP for the company and mainly for our sales department. However, three other departments such as the logistics and finance departments are also using it, including the support department that I am the manager of. It used for all of the sales related business processes as well as finance operations including the logistics that are needed to carry these tasks out. The operations carried out with Odoo include basically everything starting from the first step of selling to ending with the invoices, and sales orders to shipping.
Easy to use and user-friendly interface with the detailed instructions alongside whenever it's needed. If the instructions do not help or you need any further assistance their support team is really accessible through email. The response rate is maximum 1 hour. The ability of the system to be the all-in-one place for different business operations. As in terms of sales, in our organization, it unites and serves almost every task related to sales starting from invoicing and ending with the shipping. The modules inside the Odoo are well adapted to each other for different but connected operations making it comfortable to understand the process flow at a functional and technical level.

Overall: The implementation process is terrible, and Odoo being newer and less used in the US means their support and staff really do not know much about the system. You are paying them to learn with you, and there is no way to talk to the people that might know the system. It seems all of their developers are overseas, so timing is a real issue. We were told our implementation would be complete by the end of January, and we are in July now and still none of out inventory stays in sync on any of out platforms.(Amazon, eBay and WooCommerce). No one at Odoo can figure out why. One of the support techs told me they do not know much about setting up eBay and showed me what they found about it when the googled the issue. Not very comforting. We have been overselling on our platforms, and that is a very bad thing as am Amazon and eBay seller. We can't get them to prioritize us and get the issues resolved. We were told by our sales consultant and his manager that we would be getting a refund of 100% of the implementation costs, and we have this in email from them. We have still not received this and it is 3 months later. They will no longer even respond to questions about the refund. We are locked into a 3 year, very expensive contract with no hope at this point that the system will ever work for us. We are at the point where we fell we are just going to need to leave Odoo for a new system and it will be a huge loss and almost a year of lost time and resources. They absolutely do not care about their customers.

Overall: The biggest hurdle was the initial implementation so this may be something you would need to prepare yourself for if deciding on choosing Odoo, unless of course you are happy to pay for the support packages offered by Odoo which we found to be very costly. Other than this the system itself is an excellent piece of kit and it has helped our business traverse the gap between startup business to SME
