    While using Rocketlane, I found the interface learning steps straightforward to understand. In addition, their templating system helps to create a streamlined process right at the start of signing up. Although I found my way around rather quickly, the onboarding team from RocketLane did a fantastic job showing me the "hidden" or "less know" elements of the software that I did not know about until speaking with them. I do not doubt that someone with less tech/ interface knowledge would be able to learn the program quickly with their support. I wish the functionality between the internal and client-facing dashboards were a bit more streamlined. For example, in Rocketlane, you can view your client's dashboard, but it only shows you a preview. If you wanted to "test" your system, you would need to create another login, sign in on another browser, and then go through the process as a "client." I feel Rocketlane could do a much better job allowing admin users to preview and "onboard" themselves to preview their system. Second, Rocketlane is a powerful tool with lots of features. However, access to these robust tools comes with a pricing premium compared to other "project management" tools. Therefore, if your business only plans on using some features, this option might not be the best unless your team plans on using all of its offerings, like time tracking, templates, forms, quizzes, client dashboards, etc. Rocketlane has allowed my business to become semi-automated right out of the gate. With this tool, my company can onboard new clients (and team members) incredibly quickly without needing emails, calls, and other forms of communication. The custom templates you can build inside Rocketlane have also helped my business become more streamlined. The possibilities are endless with the type of templates you can create and use over and over for your clients. Plus, the plan I selected allows unlimited clients, so we never have to worry about user account issues.

    A few things that I like very much about Rocketlane are, 1. The UI - Easy to use and navigate 2. The Customer Portal - You can keep your customer updated in realtime. They can access a separate portal to keep track of things 3. The ability to present the project plan to the Customer - There is a presentation option that lets you showcase your project plan to your customer right from the Rocketlane instance without having to prepare a separate PPT 4. Repository of Documents - All the collaterals can now be in one place. It's not that I dislike it, but a couple of changes that I would like to see are as follows, 1. Storage limit is 25 MB at this point; it can be updated to, say a few GBs 2. Ability to create "View Only" kind of access (That doesn't consume your license) that can be given to people at the management level to check the reports/overview. It's streamlining our Onboarding process big time!! It lets us create projects/tasks and helps all the stakeholders keep track of progress. The beauty of this is that you can assign tasks to the respective person responsible for taking them to completion. Hey Karthik, Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review.     We always want a Project Management software where we can manage our Projects easily and track the tasks without any hassle. Rocketlane software is the perfect software for us to manage and update our tasks and Projects. Few special features that I want to mention in Rocketlane are- 1. Notification - We get all the notifications in the Rocketlane app and in the email as well of all the updates and communications that we do with our clients. 2. New Project - Creating a New Project is quick and easy. 3. Report - Reports come out in detail. 4. Overdue - Overdue is a great feature to track overdue tasks. 5. Project Plan - We can create the Project Plan according to our client's requirements. 6. Spaces - Spaces is a good feature to send across the sign-off sheet to our client once we complete the Projects. 7. Chat - We can do live Chat with our clients through the Rocketlane chat feature. Private chat is for Internal chat and General chat is for client chat. 8. All Files - Projects-related files can be uploaded in All files sections which can be accessible for us and for the clients as well. At starting when the software was new, we face some slowness issues but that is now rectified by the Rocketplane team and the slowness issue is resolved. So there is nothing to dislike about the Rocketlane software. The best benefit is the support that the Rocketlane team is giving whenever we required it. There is a chat with us option available in the Rocketlane app by which we can do chatting with the Rockeltane team if we face any issue or we have any query regarding our Projets and the response is so quick. I will definitely recommend this software as it has all the features that a company wants for their employees to manage their Projects.

    Before I get into what I like about this product I feel it is important to set the context of my roles which in turn will add more context to how Roketlane adds value. Having started as a Solutions consultant as part of the Pre-Sales team in 2019, Implementation & customer onboarding was part of my crucial everyday tasks. Now I am an Account executive in the Sales Org (Not your ideal target user of Onboarding and Project management tools) helping customers find the best solution. These are some of the key things I like about Roketlane from my perspective: 1. It's my source of truth for all Implementation/Onboarding related activities - Helps me keep an eye on the implementation progress of newly closed accounts. Makes it easier for me to plan the ideal check-in time with the customers to have a debrief and potentially source a case study. 2. Positive impact it has on our customers to know there is a dedicated platform used just to enable the best & fastest route to Go-live/Project completion. Giving them visibility into the onboarding status as well. 3. Steady improvement in overall implementation/project management. Since my role does not require me to explore and use all the feature sets of Roketlane I would not be the best judge on their individual feature sets. The User Interface was not very easy to get used to initially. - Easily track the status of Onboarding of Accounts on a dashboard in real-time - No follow-ups with team members are required for status updates on the onboarding. - Improvement in the overall implementation experience

    Very nice look of the portal, professional, user firendly, logical layout, good navigation, self-explanatory. Easy to invite customers and share project plan and project activities, great overview on the timelines! Missing some features and needs more development/enhancements: 1) Need to build in the tool the view of orginially planned project dates vs actual dates, so you can see the gap. 2) Status reports need to include project overview graphics, status report needs to be exportable 2) Status reports need to be emailed also to PM with an option for customers to reply to the report email that comes to PM. 3) Would be nice to add Project Action tracker functionality where Project action items will be captured in one sheet/table and updates can be made by PM and customer. 4) Need to set up Filter to search Project by PM. 5) Time sheet functionality can be improved: to add edit option for activities created. RocketLane helps to share with customers project status, project plan, and all related activities. Keeps customer and PM on track, provides access to latest project status, reminds of due tasks.

Can be finetuned to map for advanced Project handling Good tool for Onboarding or even managing Projects. Provides both a waterfall view and a Kanban view of deliverables with timeline mapping. The time management helps to manage billable hrs for each customer project. Very simple and easy to integrate with JIRA and Salesforce. Navigation is made easy and the Overview page helps largely to know the overall Project Health at a glance Customer Onboarding and time management for each project.     Rocketlane is more robust for onboarding than monday.com with better customer interface. However, Rocketlane does not have some of the advanced features of ChurnZero or GUIDEcx. However, Rocketlane's pricing is aligned well with the features they offer.
    Rocketlane would work well for any company that needs to empower their customers to complete steps in a process on their own. For example, if you have a detailed onboarding process, you can break this down in Rocketlane. You can add text information, link to documents and videos, and add attachments for your users. You create a plan for each separate customer / business, you can customize based on each user's needs. If your needs only involve a few customers or you have very few steps needed to complete the process (e.g. onboarding), Rocketlane might be too complicated or involve too much learning / setup for your company.
    Gives visibility into where in the process each customer is. Allows for different processes created for different customers. Creates a portal for customers to see and interact with the entire process.
    It would be helpful if Rocketlane had a more robust Knowledge base and customer support portal.

As an Implementation Consultant, I work out of Rocketlane multiple times daily to track tasks, view and update project statuses and customer health, take notes on customer meetings, and keep our customers updated. Before Rocketlane, our team was using many different tools, and it's made a huge difference to have it all consolidated in one place.
    Rocketlane has helped my team tremendously manage several customer accounts concurrently and collaborate across the team. For example, we have our implementation consultants, customer engineers/solutions architects, customer success managers, and team leads all in Rocketlane and while the implementation consultants and CSMs manage the projects on a granular level, everyone on the team can track different tasks and deadlines in the same place.

    The older one was no as good as Rocketlane because the User interface and UI are most important to use any software for the end user. Because more easy to understand, and easier to adapt the software. Thanks, Rocketplane I really like rocketplane because of its features and functionality. I really love to use the use it easy to use and manage the project.
    This is best in tracking the project status and the visibility to the client so the client gets to know the real-time project status. There is a chat process so the client can communicate with the project owner related to this project. And the client can share the file in the chat as well. project owner also can audit the chat in the private chat so other team members get the information that they required.

    Overall experience is good. I think its a great tool to collaborate with the customer and give transparent overviews on status quo and remaining tasks. You can definitely see that it has just recently started because of missing features that would help us even more. But they add new features on a regular basis and we can always give feedback.
    I very much enjoy the Status Updates which I use for our Weekly customer meetings. I also find the internal notes and tasks great so we can have all tasks in one - the ones the customer needs to know about and the ones that are just for us internally.
    Its still missing a few features. I would for example like to order tasks in the project board by drag and drop. This is not doable yet.

    There are various things which i liked in the application - Private space which i can use for actionable within team, same is not visible to client - Use this application to have conversation with client (chat tool too) - Easy to attach documents - Project also have sub task activities (Child -Parent relation) - Overall project status with delay activities - Reminders for the project (next and delayed task) - Play with % of completion with task and subtask and many more
    Nothing as such but yes, i must say i wanted more charts and reports

    We are using Rocketlane to accelerate our customer's onBoarding projects and facilitate issue managements with existing clients.
    I really like the Presenter mode, which allow me to show my customers what the project is going to look like, within a synthetic view. I also love the possibility to generate status reports directly from the tool, with a simple click & drop of recently completed or blocked tasks.
    I use project phases for projects with clearly defined tasks but I'm currently missing the opportunity to define custom tags to easily build group of tasks later inside the Kanban board for example

    It haas been a breezy affair handling projects, tracking tracks and engaging customers to have complete overview on the project with respect to timelines and other tasks aligned.
    One stop solution to have complete overview on the projects aligned and the timelines prescribed. Really crisp and handy to use.
    Rocketlane is definitely evolving. Nothing that seems missing but lil more automation would really make RL a super tool to use. Just nitpicking ,but timesheets can be more easy to fill in.

    I had a very good experience so far by using Rocketlane. We use this product for Work Flow management in our organization and I'm very satisfied with the features available in Rocketlane which is very user friendly. I would like to call it - Simple but Powerful!
    Overall, the whole product looks great according to the UI part and also very user friendly. Security-wise also Rockletlane is up to the mark
    The part where we can attach documents can be improved.

    We love using Rocketlane's external view of the project so we can share with our Customer and keep specific tasks internal vs external. Rocketlane allows us to control our branding and onboarding experience better than competitors.
    Rocketlane is new to the scene and thus some of the features will be fresh and rusty. Transfering from Asana just took a little bit of getting used to you. They have a great Care team and resources which eliminate these concerns.
