    When I was shopping around for CRM software to use, Thryv was in the top 2 companies. My favorite feature was that they claimed to be able to bill customers on auto-pilot each month. It was the top reason I went with them. We're a small company and couldn't afford to have to chase our payments each month. After signing up, and entering into the infamous 6 month contract, I discovered that it doesn't do that at all. The feature flat out doesn't work. I set up our first client to be billed twice a month, only to discover that the software didn't even attempt to charge him. So, I called in, and that is when I discovered that the normal customer service department DOESN'T handle anything that involves payments, and the payment department (they call it Thryv Pay) goes home at 3 PM SHARP. When I first signed up for Thryv, I was pitched the dream of how wonderful it was. I was sent emails, where they would offer me things like free t-shirts, free Amazon gift cards and even free services if I went and left a review for them. These offers came in fast after signing up, within the first week, and they kept coming. Go to G2 and leave a review and you'll get a free Amazon gift card, then a week later, go to another site and leave another review (you can even copy and paste your G2 review) and we'll send you a t-shirt. Then the big one came. We will give you a full video production package, send out a crew to you, we'll film you and your clients and edit the videos and give you 10 different versions of them IF you do a video review for us. All these came in the first 30 days of being with Thryv. This was before I even had an attempt to fully try out the software. The person who works in billing and handles your account if you want to cancel is a piece of work. I went from dissatisfied to disgusted. Disgusted that I trusted this company with my time, my money and my energy. Now, I wish I never met them. It's interesting, how companies that require a contract will tell you whatever they need to get your business, but as soon as you try to hold them to that it's "Well you have a 6-month contract, so you'll have to keep it another 3 months. It's written in the contract you signed." Okay, you're right. I signed a contract because I TRUSTED you when I clearly should not have. Now I have a 6-month contract for a CRM software that doesn't provide the service they "contracted" for. The reason I purchased Thryv and signed a contract with them is for the ability to use scheduled payments (auto billing), and it doesn't work. I can stick around and see if it gets better, but that would mean, I'd have to go in and schedule next month's payments for all my clients and PRAY that it works because if it doesn't 75% of my month's revenue will be lost until I can manually chase it down. Or I could test it out again, and put only one client in the system and PRAY that one works, but if it doesn't work, I will have to wait another month to test another one. Such a waste of time. Thryv is creating more problems than it is solving. I was prepared to chalk it up as a learning experience, and just walk away, but when I tried to cancel, I was told. "Well, we've given you credits in the last 3 months, so you've only paid for one month, and therefore you'll have to keep it until after your Sept payment (3 months away)". Oh, I see, so even though you've wasted my time, energy and resources for 3 months, and the software doesn't do what you told me it would do, I'm required to keep paying for it, even though you know it is providing no benefit to me and my small business? So, I'll have to keep paying for your software and also go out and find a solution to solve the problem I hired you guys for? Therefore taking away even more revenue from my small business?     Starting from the first meeting I had with Thryv, they broke away from the pack with their knowledge, professionalism, and their acute attention to wanting to better understand my business. As a small business owner where every dollar and hour of the day matters, it's nice to feel like you have a partner and are not being treated as just another customer. I can honestly say from my experience to this point that nothing stands out that I dislike. We're learning from each other along the way, so what matters most in a small business is responding when things aren't necessarily as expected. Thryv acts very quickly on our feedback and requests so that their service becomes more and more as if we were doing this work ourselves. It's like Thryv has become part of our staff. We needed to find other marketing and advertising options because our prior year's results were horrible, even after overspending the original marketing budget. That's not acceptable, so we interviewed half a dozen agencies over the course of a few months to determine who best fit our needs and there was a consolidated model that would get us away from having six different logins to six different services and companies. Thryv is able to address all six, however, we are only using them for five of those services at this point with plans to onboard the sixth later this year. This represents a huge time saver by consolidating everything into a single login account and a reduction in overall spending and contract management with multiple agencies. Hi Bill, WOW!     Customer service! You can get help 24/7 from knowledgeable and dependable representatives. If they can't answer your question they submit it and get back to you. Very rare to see that anymore! The main downside to using Thryv is that it is not all intuitive. There have been some actions I have flat out not been able to figure out and had to contact support. There are a couple that I still haven't figured out and there are several things I enjoyed at the previous CRM I had that Thryv does not do, and I am missing being able to accomplish what I need to like I did with my previous CRM. Sign-up sooner than later. While I was able to transfer client's information to Thryv, for the most part, but none of the historical information from my previous CRM was transferred so I had to manually transfer that information, for over 600 contacts! So switch sooner rather than later! Also, make a list of all the things you love at your current CRM and ask if those are available with Thryv. I miss several things that I loved but didn't ask about. And finally, TAKE YOUR TIME! This program is SO powerful don't try to absorb everything in one shot. Take it in slowly and keep a list of questions to ask the next time you meet with a rep. The reps are VERY knowledgable and if they don't know the answers they find out. So take it slow and easy! The main problem Thryv is solving is the ease for my clients to pay online. I was hoping for better tracking of interactions with my clients but, some things are missing to make that possible.     The general idea of Thryv is good. You should be able to use it to better reach your customers through things like social media and email campaigns. It took a long time to get up and running but, for our company, probably the most helpful part about the program was that they handled our social media posting. From my understanding Thryv is mostly a CRM platform. I say from my understanding because NO ONE is helpful within this company. Its parent company, DexYP, sells pretty much everything by confusing its customers. This particular piece of the package (Thryv) sold to our company was given to me to oversee. It was a complete waste of money. The one feature we found useful, the social media posting, wasnt even great. There were many posts that were duplicated throughout the year, and even one entire month of posts that was copy and pasted from a previous month (you have a calander on Thryvs platform that you can review the scheduled posts before they go out for the month, so this was caught before the posts were made). I honestly wish I could give a better review as to why this was so bad, but there was so little we were able to utilize within Thryv that I dont have much feedback to give. Confusing and a waste of money. Thryv didnt actually help solve any problems for us. Hello Courtney - I'm sorry to hear of the disappointment outlined surrounding your experience with Thryv.     I have to say it has been frustrating and a real disappointment. My main purpose in purchasing this package was a promise to boost my google presence. After 3 months, I still do not have Google Business listing that they assured me they were launching. I should have done it myself.

    Thryv is much more robust in what it can do. It is so robust that I learn something new it can do, or it offers almost every day. There are things that the others I tried did that Thryv does not, and things that the others do better, but when push comes to shove I went with the one that could do more of what I needed, and for a more reasonable cost.
    Thryv is not for everyone! It all depends on the needs of the individual's business. If they are wanting to scale back on the number of tools they have to use and pay for, to accomplish their business needs and those tools include a scheduler, Social Media planning/posting tool, an email marketing tool, etc. then Thryv could be for them! If they are looking for a tool to automate some of the communications with their clients, Thryv could be a fit there, too! BUT if they are a small business, solopreneur, and need to start with the entry package BEWARE! The Premium package doesn't have the basic things that the more expensive packages do. One is a customized email signature so you can have you logo, picture, etc. in your email signature. This wasn't offered at all a year ago. I asked for it to be added. Evidently others did too because this week I got an email that they had added it BUT NOT for the Premium Package. Something that is basic that EVERYONE should have access to BUT you have to pay more! It didn't make me feel like a valued customer that's for sure.
    Customer service is FANTASTIC! Put regularly used and needed tasks under one umbrella. Makes it easy to schedule and post to Social Media
    Saving emails from Gmail to Thryv when a client doesn't email thru the Thryv link doesn't work all the time causing you to have to physically copy the email and put it in notes. Emails sent through Thryv do not show up in the sent folder of gmail, for historic say. You can't forward an email sent through Thryv. The task reminder system doesn't work for me. I need to be able to have one place to go, to see the list of tasks for that day. Thryv doesn't have that, or I haven't found that yet. I started using TaskBoard so I could get and hit all my tasks at one time. The scheduling tool needs some work too. I have had issues with it when people from other time zones make appointments. Presently they offer "texting" through Thryv BUT you have to have a landline that accepts texts. Who has a landline these days? I transferred my business line (a landline) to a mobile phone so I can no longer text through Thryv and have record of it in my clients' folders. Therefore, I no longer have that historic information in their account. Seems backwards! They claim to be for small businesses but some key features are not offered to the Premium member. One particular that I actually was one who asked for, was only offered to the higher paying customers. Something that should have been for everyone from the beginning, being able to add your logo, picture, etc. to your email signature. You can even do that in gmail! BUT NOT IN THRYV, unless you pay more! If you want to be able to individualize your signature with your logo you better subscribe to the larger packages, or go with another service!

    I realized Thryv could help me BUILD a customer list and that is what it will really make my website work. I am counting on Thryv to help me get to where I am going which is a money-making plus-size clothing website by using all of its features. Thryv is not a quick fix it is an investment in yourself with their guidance and tools to have a successful business.
    Well suited for a business that can take advantage of all they offer like domain hosting and payments as well as appointment setting automated features. Those are things my online-only business does not use. For me, I like that all my contacts are in one place. I love that they take my company information and keep it current across the board with all different browsers. I love that they helped me with my Google presence and showed me how important reviews are. I love that they are teaching me what I need to do to get more visitors to my site with all their tools such as email blasts and social media posting. They have a library of articles you can post based on your industry and the articles show how many views they have gotten. So many positive attributes to Thryv. I can't wait to unlock them all. As I use Thryv more I learn more cool things that can help me BUILD my clientele. Which they have also taught me is the real key to making money. Slow and steady wins the race.
    Allows me to send unlimited socail media posts and emails. Allows me to collect information on customer. Allows me to have all my customers info in one safe place. Creates posts for my social media 12 times a month. Keeps my webite up to date and helps me with updates. Has the most amazing customer service via chat and phone.
    Offer an automated rewards program for my customer based on their spending and their referrals. Since I use Shopify and they host me it would be nice to get a financial break for not using that part of the package. Maybe providing apps.

    Thryv helps manage my business website and social media pages. Before Thryv I only owned the domain for my website but didn't have time to do anything with it so they were able to take control and build it from scratch for me. Also, before Thryv, I was struggling to post once a week on Facebook, whereas with the help of Thryv I am able to post daily on 5 different social media sites, including Facebook and 4 others.
    Thryv is well suited to those that want their CRM, invoicing/taking payments, website management, social media management, etcetera in one place. It is not suited for someone who wants to have different companies handling different aspects of marketing and customer relations.
    CRM made easy. Post plans for social media sites are easy to use. Website development/management. Low fees associated with taking payments from clients/customers.
    I await the day that Thryv can integrate with Xero. Google Messages integration would be handy. There have been less than a handful of days where the site crashes and I have to reload it several times to get it to work properly.

    I had to reach out to their [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] about 1+ years ago in order to get my website fix because they keep on pushing from one team to another. I have been frustrated with their unprofessional customer services since 2017 and I'm about to send another email to the [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] about this ridiculous charge of $199. This is a scam and rip-off from their customers who decided to leave.
    They provided everything including updating my website. Great customer services and responsibility to meet my needs. They understood that I'm extremely busy with my work schedule 7 days a week, and they accommodated my needs. They are willing to schedule a time to work with me to make sure the website meet my need and I can chat with their customer service to get the issue resolved. If I decide to add additional features and they will have a sales rep call me on my convenience, do the DEMO and explain the price until I'm clear of what I get, what option do I have to cancel if I am not satisfied with the new function?
    If you have a full-time staff to use this software to run your business then it should be okay.
    1. You need to constantly check your website because you know when they mess it up to become a blank page. You will not get an easy resolution from their CSR without a request to speak with the manager. 2. If you terminate the agreement earlier then they hold you accountable to pay them until the term expired. On the other hand, when the term is expired and they continue to charge you month-to-monthly without giving you the courtesy email to let you know about the term being the change. 3. I was 3 or 4 days into the new month and request to terminate because my contract has been expired for I don't even know how long. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] promised me that she will wave the 1-time pro-rate fee that give me the weekend to retrieve all the emails that I need and forward it to my Google account. That was a lied and on Monday I got charge for the full-price $199. I have appeal with my bank and call Thryv, they have the nerve to tell me that they are not going to refund the charge. If you are looking then stay away from Thryv.

    Thryv is awesome, incredible, and it produces immediate results. After 30 years in business I am proud to say, 2019 has been our best year ever! The person behind our real success story is rep. He is my wing man. When I first started with Thryv, I was cynical steeped in old school ways of doing business. rep is our go to any time help guy. He is as tenacious as a bulldog when it comes to the install and he continually shows up to provide hands on support, training, and implementation of new features. He's on it to make sure things are going well and exceeding expectations. Thanks for the helping hands. Rep, in my opinion, is a great asset to your company and to mine! I hope executive management responds to you about this post.
    What I like most about Thryv is its user friendly for our staff and for our clients. Many of the everyday tasks of communicating with customers over the phone, through email, and texts all happen in one place. There is tremendous value in having our website, social media, client interactions, email marketing, text marketing, appointments, and appointment reminders, all on one dashboard. Everything works together to benefit our business.
    Customer support has not always been favorable, meaning, I have to heavily depend on my rep. Sometimes speaking with folks with different accents and dialects is hard to comprehend when we need assistance. At times we avoid reaching out due to the disconnect.

    My overall experience with Thryv has been great! From the regional contact that reached out to me explaining and showing me how Thryv could change the way I am able to advertise and support my business. To every appointment with the web support to the on boarding support has been so easy, they make sure you have what you need, if your not comfortable yet, they book another follow up appointment with you. Truly they are there for you!! Thryv is definitely customer orientated! I recommend their services every chance I get!
    The previous product didn't ever finish my website, they did not offer the support Thryv offers. It was a very difficult experience, with no advantage to my business. Fortunately, was able to get out of contract for monies already paid.
    This software is very user friendly, even for those a little technically challenged like myself. With a little practice I now use it daily. I am a tow truck driver, so accessing and using the app mobile was critical for me. The value of being able to create customer, the estimate, & receipt on the fly has made my life easier! The ability for the program to send a "leave review" reminder is also important to me.
    Integrating Thryv into my daily use for my business has been pretty easy as I did things by hand before. I can not think of anything I like least about this software so far.

    Overall, I've enjoyed Thryv. It's a bit more expensive than I ultimately can afford right now (being as my business is relatively new and still trying to grow). But, I'm going to stick with it and put in the work to make it a success. Thryv will be of great benefit especially when the ball gets to rolling really well.
    I wanted a more inclusive package to get everything wrangled into one spot. While I enjoyed FreshBooks tremendously, I couldn't do any CRM, Social Media postings, etc...
    I love that I can get a quick response from Customer Service, and they are always so eager to help. I really love the follow-up meetings with coaches. I really hope these coaching sessions will help my business grow. The social media posting tools are great! The calendar and booking features are great! I would love it if I could give my clients the option to choose from meeting locations, but I'm not seeing that option anywhere. I may check with a coach at some point. Not a big deal though.
    Whew. I've been around and around regarding the auto-billing / auto-invoicing. I have clients that want an invoice each month to pay for the services I provide them. I'm still manually having to create and send these invoices each month. I would LOVE to see this work better and be a little more user friendly.

    The level of customer support Thryv offers is important on an average business day and during this time of rapid change, the importance of client communication and the continuation of prospecting, it is crucial. I wanted you to be aware of our high level of satisfaction, the appreciation of each interaction we've had with customer support personnel and their skill-level to help us, efficiently and the customer support culture and level of Thryv customer support.
    Streamlining of client communications, scheduling and retention of client contact information. The visibility to the sells process, which has allowed us to be improve our process. The integration of the online portal/app with our website, sells process and ability to manage all of this, including social posts, marketing campaigns and online presence in on place. The ability to have several seats in the system for employees or subcontractors.
    Social Content, the posting feature for LinkedIn only posts to our company page and I have to take an additional step to post to my personal LinkedIn page. Knowing where each logo and size of logo feeds to within Thryv.

    It's been great! I recommend it to every small business owner that I come across. They built a very functional website that drives lots of business to me. This is well worth the investment.
    Overall I love this software and all of its abilities. This is like anything you will get out of it what ever you put into it. I use this software all day everyday. I appreciate how more features are added without the cost going up. I feel like someone (Thryv) is really out to help small businesses manage their information and use it in a way to grow and better communicate with their customers.
    The mobile version and table version sometimes are downright slow. I am on the road all day and rarely behind a computer. I would love to see improvements on the mobile and tablet app speed (When full bars at 4G or 2-4 bars of 5G). It's embarrassing to be in front of a customer and for it to take more than 1 minute for the app to load, and sometimes it takes much longer than that. I would like the ability to upload and edit pictures straight from the Thryv app, and not have to separately upload them from the gallery which takes too long.
