Close CRM is my absolutely GO-TO customer relationship management software that offers a wide range of features to help our businesses manage our customer relationships at the highest level. The software is highly customizable, which allows businesses to tailor it to their specific needs. Additionally, Close CRM provides excellent customer support, which is critical for businesses that rely on the software to manage first touch communication on new leads, and lead nurturing. Overall, Close CRM is an excellent choice for businesses that need a comprehensive and customizable CRM solution. On a direct note, Pedro Ponciano is our account manager and has been an absolute all-star for us. He even created a 5 minute step by step video personalized just for us on a solution to automate our SMS first touch communication for our incoming leads! He's been more than helpful any time we reach out for assistance! I cant find much I don't like yet. So far we have not found any issues that stop our process that has not already been instructed by their incredible support. We had an issue with automating SMS, and Pedro knocked it out of the park by creating me a personalized 5 minute instructional video on step by step how to create the solution we thought was missing. A++++++ all around. Close really helps bridge the gap in client nurturing, first touch communication for our inbound leads, and overall managmeent of our clients lifecycle as a customer. It's made life so much easier. Thank you for leaving such a thoughtful review of Close, Nate! We appreciate your support and are happy to hear you've been having a great experience with our sales tools.

I would find that I would meet with prospects and when I couldn't close on the first or second meeting, I would move on to the next prospect. Close has given those types of prospects new life by reminding me about not only the prospect but what the potential and eventual client and I spoke about, giving me an edge that I did not have before. I can categorize each step in the sales process which helps me organize and optimize my business and my ability to earn more. Close is so comprehensive that if you allow yourself to be drawn into a rabbit hole of "over organizing" you can take away time from closing. I do wish that there was a one-stop shopping video that answered all your questions or walked you through the nuances of Close. Close has given new life to leads that I thought were dead. Leads that in the past I would not have followed up with consistently. I can set up automated follow-up emails and texts to keep me in front of the client virtually. Therefore gives me an advantage in closing deals that I would not have closed because of the lack of tracking and consistent follow-up. Remember... follow-up is key! Thanks for your thoughtful review of Close, Tim. Our team appreciates your feedback and happy to hear Close has improved your follow-up game!

Close has worked out really well for us and has been a huge upgrade over the antiquated system we were previously using. Especially for the cost, we are very happy with most of the customization and how well the system works. Adding custom activities that fit our sales process and are trackable has been huge! Same with custom fields to track specific criteria about our leads and then being able to create lists based on any of that data has been super valuable. Some of the features that we really wish Close had are a little bit more control and customization on sales reporting from a management perspective, the ability to segment user databases so that the logged in user only sees leads/sequences/etc assigned to or created by that user, and the ability to make certain fields required when creating a lead so the user doesn't forget to record certain vital information. More control and customization than was available in our previous CRM and ability to easily create very specific lists based on the data recorded in the system. Thank you for your feedback, Brett! We appreciate your review.

Simple and easy to use user-friendly interface. Easy to add leads and relevant information information to those leads. Calling is simple - just click the phone number and it calls, recording it automatically. Email templates and sequences are excellent and we use them daily mostly without issue. Custom fields are very convenient and it's easy to sort leads by their custom field - this helps track different types of leads owned by different reps. Not ideal for tracking sales outreach processes and sequences, like who to reach out to and when. We basically have to manually set reminders for when to call someone after an email, etc. It'd be nice if that were integrated into sequences automatically. Not a fan of how all notifications end up in "Inbox". Inbox should only be emails, while notifcations and tasks should have their own tabs. Call recording quality is pretty bad, and a great external mic is necessary to have good sound quality while speaking. Have an excellent external way of staying organized with sequences. Make sure to keep accurate information for each lead. We are conducting our inbound and outbound efforts. Inbound includes enterprise forms that integrate nicely with Close via an API. We also track website signups manually in Close and send an email template to them, which has helped convert some basic users into enterprise customers. We've been able to obtain new customers via our outbound efforts as Close helps scale up operations and stay a bit organized. We appreciate your honest review on Close, ConnerI've shared this feedback with our team, and we're always working to improve sequences. We hear the opposite on the Inbox feedback a lot, but every opinion is welcome and valid here! ;) We're glad you've been able to upsell and obtain new customers with your outbound efforts in Close.

    - Ease of use, especially for sales reps - Smart views enable quick and easy mini-reports - Bulk editing of lead (company/account) records is extremely fast - Out-of-the-box reporting, while easy-to-use, offers far too few options for companies that are scaling quickly - User roles and permissions, although continually evolving, are far too simplistic and do not address many key security concerns - Something as fundamental as lead ownership is not something that exists natively but rather must be added as a custom field, creating the need for custom-developed solutions (in-house and third-party) to make up for the lack of native functionality Do your due diligence, and don't rush to make the switch. Make sure that you and your team are fully aware of what functionality you could be giving up for the sake of closing deals more quickly. It may not always be worth the additional headaches. Our company switched to Close.io from an industry-leading established CRM due to problems with integrating it into our existing work processes and systems. Clearly, the biggest benefit that we have seen since implementing Close.io has been an increased rate at which sales reps are working through their case loads and closing deals. On the other hand, the inherent system limitations within Close.io, due to its simplicity, have caused a considerable number of headaches for the marketing/sales operations team. Not the least of which, there is no automation to speak of natively within Close.io, so we have had to rely on a number of third-party tools as well as our own developers in order to keep the amount of manual data maintenance work at roughly the same level as before we switched to Close.io

Simple layout Easy to use Multiple features that support sales (power dialler, smart views) Excellent search features (if used correctly - which isn't always that straight-forward) Zero reporting No Activity Tracking Terrible integration with other tools Custom fields limitations (only work at lead level) Far too many bugs which lead to duplicate and incorrect data Cannot merge or reassign contacts to new leads No way to limit view/edit permissions by individual (only by roles) Account based model which completely ignores contact or opportunity ownership Seriously think about the automation and reporting you require from the tool since it offers next to none. Also consider the tool's integration with the rest of your sales and marketing stack since Close has very poor integration with most other tools and while it has an open API, the data it shares with other tools is in a very convoluted manner (thus making it very difficult for other tools to use that data) Increase sales productivity, simplify sales-marketing integration, automate lead import into Close and automate lead reassignment to sales. So far, sales numbers have seen no increase since the transition to Close while Sales-Marketing integration has significantly worsened. As for automation, we have been unable to automate any part of the lead import and reassignment process

Close.com BROKE our agreement and KILLED our company. We partnered with close.com and after long meetings with their sales and customer success teams, we agreed to collaborate after getting a written agreement for our needs and future use of their system. We built an entire infrastructure supported by their system after working with them for few months and paying them over $20,000 knowing it's an investment and it will be worth the money on the long-range. We made sure to add in our agreement all of the potential problems and insisted that if there will be any problem - close will contact us for our immediate care and fix, as we want to keep a good relationship with them. After 4 months, just 2 days after another payment of over $5,000 from us, we received a cold email from the customer success manager, quoting an email of [SENSITIVE CONTENT] saying they won't work with us anymore and suspend our account in 40 days. NON-NEGOTIABLE. The stated reasons were ones we never heard of before from the close.com team and never knew they could cause any issue (if we've known, we would've taken care of them immediately). No prior warning, no apology, no discussion, and not even a meeting explaining the situation. Just a "non-negotiable" cold email. We spend those months we worked with Close.com HUGE amount of development and employee resources to fit our system to Close's while planning to launch a new product, and just a few days before our launch we received this awful email.

This is a great platform. But I do not recommend it to anyone. If you are interested in good CRM then try PipeDrive. They don't have a few things, but their technical support will solve all your problems. They also do a lot of custom free stuff. And you can safely store 1M + contacts.

For a specific sales team, Close performs better sales tracking and email and SMS management, with a fresh and modern interface, making the team's work more comfortable, with a holistic (but not complete) tracking and reporting of the data. Helping to improve the performance of each agent and obtain better results. For all other campaigns we use the predictive dialers mentioned above, Close is better for tracking current customers and for warm leads.
Excellent software to increase sales and follow up with existing and new customers. Email and SMS handling are really easy for the sales team, managing leads is really great, and Close merges duplicate leads to help our Data Leads avoid repetitive and unnecessary calls. As mentioned in some comments before, must improve in reports, Close is not appropriate to handle or track agents' hours making it necessary to implement additional software to cover this area.
Excellent to handle email with customer. We can implement links to fill out some PCI Complaint form. Holistic Reports of sales and agents follow up. Pretty good price per user and different levels of services.
Hours tracking, must improve in get and run data hours. Reports could improve, be more detailed and specific. Predictive dialer just added in more expensive plan.

Close.io strikes an important balance between power (features / functionality) and simplicity, making it an enjoyable and powerful platform to use. It's also priced favorably to Salesforce.
Close.io is well suited for a sales organization who wants to track leads, make sure none slip through the cracks, move them into opportunities as discussions progress, and close new business. The simplicity of the platform is part of why it's powerful - it's full feature set can be easily understood and leveraged by even those without much training on the system. I'm not sure where Close.io would be less appropriate...
Email sequences. Create and send a sequence of emails until the sequence finishes or the contact replies to your email. You can also pause the sequence manually. Email sync. Syncs in real time with your email account, which is huge. Zapier integration. We've automated a lot of our pipeline management through the Zapier integration. This saves us soooo much time.
I'd like it if I could customize the inbox so that only leads that meet my defined criteria show up on my to-do list. Instead, it's managed by Close and what they consider to be an action item. The interface could use a face lift :)

Pipedrive was great for us for a long time. We used it for over 4 years. Our product and process was simple. When things got more complex, we needed something that could handle our growing needs and Pipedrive kept falling short. We built our own custom solution in Airtable and though it worked, we spend a lot of time managing it. Close was able to solve all our issues and save us hours per week in admin work.
If you're using something that you've made to manage leads and calling yourself, or you have outgrown your cheaper CRM, Close is a great option. We went from spending a lot of time organizing and reorganizing things where Close just did it as part of it's system. If you're just starting out, I wouldn't recommend it. But if you've been using anything for a while, I'd give it a try.
Manages leads. Followup & reminders. Organization of everything in one place. Add-ons that are worth every penny.
It could use a free account owner. Having a second international line would be good.

I can tell you that I have used over 20 different CRM systems over the past 10 years. We do a tone of cold calling and we need to just blaze through calls fast and I never could find CRM that allowed us to do this. I was so frustrated that I needed up even creating our own CRM just to do this very thing. I can't tell you how much money I spent in development of our CRM to make a product that blazes through calls fast. We used that for about a year or two then I stumbled on because our in-house custom CRM was having problems and we didn't have the resources to fix it so I figured I would try again. I cannot tell you how incredibly excited I am about how amazing Stop logging calls and emails and start making them instead. truly is. This CRM is unlike any product on the market it is exactly what we wanted our in-house product to be and more. It's so awesome we scrapped our in house product and started exclusively using Stop logging calls and emails and start making them instead.. You do not truly have an appreciation for "next gen" this thing really is, there is literally nothing like it on the market and honestly I'm a bit shocked no one seems to get the amazing this thing is. This is a pure sales communication tool that cuts out all the BS of a CRM and is a real actual tool that a sales person can use to increase their sales and not just some data collection thing that salespeople are forced to you. If you actually give a go and start using it you'll never want to use anything else if you do cold calling. The thing seamlessly interfaces all your calls AND even all your emails! You no longer need to be jumping in and out of outlook, you don't need to check your outlook or Gmail calendar, and you don't need to do anything except pull up the Stop logging calls and emails and start making them instead. and do the stuff in your inbox and make money. It pulls in not only your tasks, and follow up meetings but it also syncs your emails and voicemail sand phone calls. It takes every single bit of communication you do and puts it in one quick "to do list" automatically with ZERO data entry. It's blazing fast and it just works. The voicemail drop thing is really dope, I can't tell you how many times a day I find myself having to leave voice mails for people, they have this thing that you hit a button and it automatically leaves a voicemail so you can go to the next call, just amazing in terms of productivity.
There are too many to list - If you do cold calls this is a no brainier, you need to buy it today! It support The best apps. Better together. as well which means it hooks into hundreds of other marketing tools also. Their support is second to none, these guys seems to be hustling hard with support, product development and just providing a kick ass experience for their customers. I recommend this product.
This thing is EXPENSIVE.. but the truth is you get what you pay for and you geta lot. Your paying for the best and it has a price tag which clearly says it's the best because it's more than double the cost of other competitive products. The downside is though I have 3 team members and I'm paying close $300 to $400 a month for 3 people that's crazy considering there are other products that do VoIp with Twillio for less than $10 a user. So I went from paying $50 a month for CRM and $80 for Twillio VoIP($180) to $300 a month. So my prices doubled, which sucked however after using this product it is worth the extra price but if they raise the prices anymore that is just pushing because it really his priced rather high for the market it's in. Even the enterprise "SForce" CRMs are not as expensive as that (course those CRMssuck compared to this when it comes to cold calling). The problem is I can't easily scale with it. So I'll be stuck with a 3 users fora while where if they had it at a lower price point I would buy a license fore very one of my staff but since it's so expensive I can't justify it for anyone but my sales people. I think they are missing out on revenue by not having license does not have the VoIP stuff for like $5 a user so my support team could use it without VoIP and be on par with other CRM price points. It's clear though this is a nitch product for telephone sales teams. SO that being said if you do not do a lot of phone sales then this product is probably overkill for you and there are many others that are more of "client manager"type of product where this bad boy is a pure sales beast and nothing else.. It will help increase your sales without a doubt! In terms of client management and being asingle point for all customer data it does the job but it does not really do that any better than other products out on the market for half its cost. It's really the phone cold calling stuff is what makes it so awesome so if any other CRM companies ever figure this out and try to clone/copy it they will have some real competition but so far there is nothing like it and I would buy all over again! Also I really never write reviews either so the fact I'm even doing this speaks to much this thing rocks!

We have a startup focused in ticket sales for events in Mexico. We were looking for in-depth data of our salesmen and to make easier for them to keep track of their clients by client type. We used a CRM (highrise), but the data it gave us was no longer enough to know more about whether the size and type of clients - and opportunities - our sales team were generating was the right kind given our current strategy. We initially requested a trial by importing a subset of random data of our former CRM but we felt this was not useful, because not all of those imported leads were relevant to us at the moment. When support from close.io gave us the option to extend our trial period, we deleted all of the previous leads and instead started adding new leads into the platform. That's when we notice the main strong point of close.io: by adding our first lead's email, within seconds we had a full history of each email we exchanged in the past. The desktop app works like a charm. Also, when you have a small sales team like ours, it's great to add a lead and check if one of your teammates already make a contact. Finally, it's amazing how easy is to categorize leads, we even use it to keep track of investors, allies and competitors. The call feature is also a huge breath of fresh air into a follow-up process. The fact you can make calls straight from the app, that those calls get recorded and also get tracked into a lead's history ensures automatic track of almost every kind of interaction with a lead. In our case, although we tried it and it worked great, we won't make use of it because our small office space forces us to do calls by getting outside the office, and given our internet connection is not that solid we will keep making calls the way we are right now and evaluate a full switch later. In a few words: if you have a small sales team and you want to make them doing more closing and less data insertion into follow-up tools, consider switching to close.io
The email auto-tracking is by far the the tool of close.io. The fact you can create a lead and it automatically brings all of the history of emails you exchanged with them gives a lot more insight and visibility into salesman follow-up performance. Also, the call feature; if you have a strong internet connection, and especially if you're a startup and your salespeople is constantly on the run. Support also responds very quickly to feedback, which made a lot easier the switch from our former CRM.
For our business, its very important to do bulk imports. However, the tool does not let you to opt out of duplicating leads, which makes us take longer to "curate" each file we want to import.

I have been looking at various CRM's for my private practice. I provide online therapy for speech, language and learning. Close.io impressed me with its rich features and customizations. I loved the fact that Close.io works perfectly for one person. So many of the other CRMs are for sales teams.
Everything functioned flawlessly on the first try. I was able to set it up to use my domain name email. I imported all my contacts from Gmail. I could add customizations that would make it easy to keep track of my clients. The search function knocked my socks off! I couldn't remember the name of a certain funding agency. Just by entering the client's name, it gave me the funding agency. Close.io was created for people trying to make an initial sale. I keep my clients three or four years and they often need a break from therapy for a few months. It was easy for me to give clients a status, such as "paused" or "completed goals". I was able to collect leads from my Wordpress website using Planso Forms. These create a new lead in Close.io. The options to add a phone line and bulk email surprised me. I haven't seen this in any other CRMs. I can create email templates and send out messages to groups of people using my domain name email. The messages are plain text, which is just right for smart phones. I tried out the phone function on my computer. I have been using Magic Jack, and getting complaints from clients about MJ. The Close.io phone line is from Twilio and is much clearer. By installing the app on my phone, I can have a second phone number on my cell and I don't have to give clients my personal number.
I'm in Canada. I wish the price wasn't so high, especially with the exchange rate. As an online therapy provider, I also have to pay for a telepractice platform and an online scheduler. If Close.io offered integration with Verishow and Accuity Scheduling, they would be able to offer a complete virtual office for online therapists, tutors, and coaches.

Overall Close (close.io) was a great system for our high volume, low price software product. We recently switched from Close to Salesforce and It has been a very bumpy road that more than one department in our company has struggled with. Looking back on our decision, I tend to look fondly on Close's simple and straightforward CRM capabilities.
Kept all communication and information for a given account/lead visible on one page. Made it very easy to navigate and get an idea of everything surrounding a given lead quickly. - Perfect for high volume telesales - Reporting and lead management was great - Filtering lists made it easy -Phone and text worked great
The way things were set up, it made it difficult to manage Parent Child orgs for our Enterprise department. Less ability for customization and integrations. - We had a few problems with customer support/account manager getting back to us a few times. (Our account maxed out on calls and we needed to add more several times, but this took a while to flesh out and it completely shut our sales department down a couple times. This happened a few times and we wanted to set things up so it would have added time to our account before we ran out. This should have been addressed so it did not happen and never was.)

I LOVE this solution. It's extremely flexible which is crucial for our company of 80. With our HQ in Europe, and a sales team poised to expand rapidly worldwide, we needed the ability to "speak" to each other by having access to all leads in the system and their history. Right now we are piloting Close.io here in the U.S. with a couple of sales people also trying it in Europe. We integrated our incoming leads from our system into close.io via Zapier and all communication via Gmail. It was a snap! Also, the support team can CC or BCC close.io on crucial matters via the ticket system and sales can now see all important transactions in one place. Just in a few short months Sales productivity has changed dramatically, and basically, I'm a happier person, which is good for everyone!
Easy to use interface. Nice upgrade with the html in the email function! Integration with the phone is great!
Fix the Tasks function to be more user friendly. allow us the hide the custom fields so we don't need to scroll through them all when assigning data.
