OLD REVIEW: I like the scope of Vendasta's tools to be the best. There's a CRM, a task manager, a fully-fledged marketplace with a variety of price points and industries, and more. Vendasta's customer support is pretty good. They're very quick to answer questions and will make occasional exceptions to improve the customer experience. The biggest selling points of Vendasta are their wide array of services, their automation tools that help you easily bring new clients through the pipeline from prospect to partner, and the support for partners from the management level. EDIT: I do not like anything about Vendasta. It fulfills 0 of the promises it makes. After leaving my first negative review of Vendasta, they offered me 6 months of their team membership susbcription for free. I accepted, thinking I might as well start using more of the features and hopefully enjoying the software. Once I started digging into the platform more, though, I realized the actual marketing "automation" Vendasta offers is horrendous. For one, you can't integrate a native form on your website into their email marketing software. They also don't work with Zapier. Essentially, Vendasta promises to be an "agency in a box," but can't perform any of the necessary features (white label, pipeline management, sales support). You end up needing to pay for additional services like Mailchimp and Calendly ON TOP of Vendasta because the platform is that god d*mn awful. Not to mention, their CRM and task manager are nearly unusable. I would highly recommend a combination of GoHighLevel and Notion over Vendasta any day of the week. Vendasta promises to do a lot of things: marketing automation, white label, CRM, and task manager. It does NONE of those things. My original review focused on the white label downfalls; I'll leave that below. This one is going to be about the rest of the mess. Vendasta is a marketing automation platform that doesn't automate much. Today, I was just told that I can't embed their meeting booking tool directly into my webpages with HTML and I can't automatically import leads from my native contact forms (Elementor) into their email marketing software. Now, I will have to pay for Mailchimp and Calendly on top of Vendasta to perform the same basic tasks. If I had GoHighLevel, this would not be a problem. Nobody should ever pay for Vendasta. I write these reviews so that their sales team can't swindle future agency owners, small and large, like they swindled me. I will not stop until Vendasta offers me early termination. I strongly encourage you to check out GoHighLevel. From what I've heard from my mentors, it seems to be the software of choice for marketing automation. I also dislike the Vendasta marketing services team. Vendasta markets itself as a white-label solution. On their home page, they write: "Find products to sell, market with ease, and fulfill under your brand. With Vendasta, you can deliver an amazing experience for your customers and truly make a difference." Moreso than their CRM, client dashboard, or their marketing automation tools, their big promise is that they provide white-label services. Thus, this review is through the lens of Vendasta as a white-label agency. Unlike a lot of other white label agencies (51 blocks, Agency Elevation) that charge you on a per-account basis (i.e. Agency Elevation charges fixed rates starting at $300 per Google Ads account), Vendasta makes you pay $6,000 upfront for access to their marketing services team and then makes you pay again by taking a % of ad spend. As a white-label agency, it's way more expensive than its competitors, but the service does not appear to be that much better. I've used their Google Ads service for one account and their social media management service for another. I've been DRASTICALLY disappointed by both. The marketing services team has dropped the ball so hard that I'm feeling compelled to update this review for a second time. The Google Search Ads copy I received on my first account read like it was written by a non-English speaker. Whatever copy wasn't pulled straight from the client's website sounded clunky and awkward. I found typos and inconsistent punctuation (dashes) as well. The campaign has been a disaster. A total disaster. The client had previously run a campaign that spent $500 in the first month and saw 17 conversions from non-branded keywords. Vendasta's team has spent $500 and seen 1 conversion. The worst part is that I've had to come in and essentially manage the campaign myself, and the marketing services team can't even follow my direct instructions. For example, I notice that most of our clicks were coming from a recipes page on our website. Naturally, I direct them to write a new ad group specifically for recipe keywords that would take visitors directly to the recipes page on the website. I provided the exact URL I wanted traffic to go to. The team came back a day later saying they created the ad group and are directing traffic to a specific recipe....WHY? Aside from not being a good idea, it's not what I asked for. Why am I paying them for this?? I told them the margin for the product was about $40. They started bidding on keywords that had CPCs of $6-7. I sent them a keyword list full of broad match keywords to replace their expensive phrase and exact match terms. It took them a week to change the keywords. On our strategy call, the PPC tech went back and forth with me when I told her I wanted to move all of the spend to shopping ads, since that's what was working before. She reasoned that "Google Ads take time to optimize," my response was: "I understand, I've run a couple of these myself, but the client got 38 conversions in their first month with a $500 campaign created by a FREE Google Ads specialist. If we spend $1,000 + $500 management and get ONE, there's not going to be a month 2. We're supposed to be the experts here." It's funny how much back and forth there is. I shouldn't have to argue with the people I'm PAYING to manage a Google ads campaign for me. If this was someone on Upwork, I would have fired them way before this could ever happen. As for social media, the posts were off-brief and I had to archive them. In our pre-launch call, I showed examples of content I liked and topics I wanted to talk about. When asked, I explicitly said, "No, I do not want to post stock photos." If the team had simply told me "we're not capable of creating those types of content," I would have said "Okay," and pulled the plug. Instead, they were agreeable and scheduled out 3 months of stock photos with cookie-cutter generic copy. Had I sold this service to a client, instead of trying it on my account, I would have been very embarrassed. The lack of communication of expectations was unprofessional and disappointing. There seem to be good strategists among the administration and management levels at Vendasta; I've spoken with them and deeply enjoyed the conversation. The talent you actually get, however, is embarassing. On our strategy call, Vendasta's PPC tech dared to tell me the campaign was running super successfully, likely reading off a script, after I spent the first 15 minutes talking to the account manager about why the campaign WASN'T doing well. I wish the same talent that's present at the management level existed at the execution level. I expected more premium services because they're priced much higher than other white-label agencies. Unfortunately, it feels like working with someone overseas from Fiverr or Upwork -- lots of oversight is required. I will likely not be renewing, or downgrading to the most basic package, for year 2. It seems like Vendasta doesn't know what it's trying to be. It's priced like HighLevel and has many of the same features, but it markets itself like a white-label solution. As a HighLevel competitor, it lacks some key features like a funnel builder and a white-label dashboard. As a white-label agency, it's more expensive for work that isn't any better. What is Vendasta's unique value proposition supposed to be? You must have a good understanding of your business model before you begin, otherwise the tools won't help you. DO NOT upgrade Vendasta for access to their marketing services team. Vendasta's best products come from their 3rd party vendors -- you absolutely do not need any level of service higher than the basic $40/month package. If you need more team members and use the marketing automation, it might be worth it, but I'm sure there are cheaper solutions out there. Vendasta helps me fulfill SEO. For example, I spent days interviewing SEO specialists on Upwork. Thanks to Vendasta, I can hire someone through one of their white-label partners, and provide an excellent service. Large Promises, No Delivery. Not a good white label platform or marketing automation platform. It's disappointing to read your updates, Jake. We were hoping to help resolve your frustrations after we chatted last, but there's still work to do! We have all of the relevant teams involved in the discussion. Since your initial concerns were raised, we implemented an additional step in our services delivery process to ensure we can produce effective ad copy. There's a lot more to catch up on. Our Chief Customer Officer George Leith has been notified and is going to book a call with you after carefully reviewing your feedback. His number is 306-715-4664, or you can reach out to george@vendasta.com if you don't hear from him within a few business days. We have thousands of satisfied partners who have been able to scale their businesses successfully. We wish that we could have been a fit for you too.

As a marketer and small business owner, it can be hard to digitise effectively. Vendasta has done the hard work for me by identifying a range of tools and suppliers that suit my business needs and integrating them on a fantastic online portal that I am proud to share with my clients. The online store function makes it easy to create clear packages and focus my marketing and I really value the help, input and inspiration of my account manager, Dakota. His solutions-orientated approach and wealth of experience really show and his passion for Vendasta is infectious. He has helped me to really focus on my mission and develop packages of products and fulfilment services that have allowed me to add an entirely new revenue stream to my business. Everyone I have dealt with at Vendasta has been top of their game and I look forward to working with them all more. As a young platform, there are some challenges with vendasta but I am assured by my account manager that they are working on all of these. One of the main draws for me with Vendastas was the one-login dashboard and while Vendasta has some partners I work with already, the API's to integrate existing accounts don't exist yet, meaning I have had to either create secondary accounts or live with additional logins which somewhat defeats the point. Also, the lack of ability to add funds or pay for entire projects in advance, makes it challenging to manage project budgets. Vendasta is a great option for marketers or other digital professionals who might want to add services beyond their usual scope of work or to deliver more integrated campaigns for clients on a white-label basis. It is a developing platform and so while the team there are super-close to building something truly amazing, the UX can still be a little clunky. However, they have already made great bounds in that area in the short time since I started and as they continue to develop their partner support and update their services and vendors to meet current trends, I fully expect to see a positive evolution in the next few months and years. I've tried a few variations of the white label agency model and Vendasta are leaps and bounds above the competition and I would definitely recommend them as a valued partner in own business. Marketing moves fast and as a marketing consultant, I have felt under huge pressure to be an expert in every field in order to deliver fully integrated campaigns. With Vendasta, I can deliver my strategies with the help of a highly specialised team of experts and have total confidence that my clients are getting both what they need and expect and within a pre-agreed budget, allowing me to focus my expertise where it is most useful. Secondly, having an impartial, second pair of eyes on the business, helping me to grow and win business has been far more valuable than I could have realised. Dakota provides a huge amount of value in terms of helping me to shape out projects, approach potential customers and put my best self forward, while also being a great cheerleader, supporter and, when needed, challenger! Having access to the Vendasta team, fronted by a trusted account handler to guide you through it all is truly one of their greatest achievements. We are launching a new revenue stream for the business this year, and it's entirely down Vendasta's team and services. Vendasta opened up a whole new world of opportunity to scale without overstretching myself. We really appreciate your thorough and helpful feedback and will be happy to bring this to our development and support teams. We're so proud to be an integral part of your toolbox in scaling your agency!

Since I became a Vendasta Partner, I have not felt alone despite being the only one running my business at the moment. Amanda had assured me that the Vendasta team would do everything possible to help me succeed. I've been working with Ivan and Sumit on learning and getting guidance as I learn all the tools available to me. Ivan has been an excellent example of what it means to go above and beyond when I have questions. Sumit has been like my Jedi Master teaching me the way of the Jedi as a new marketing agency looking to master the way of Vendasta. At this point, I am merely a student, but I can say without a doubt that I have already had a super awesome experience. Glad I made this investment to take my marketing agency to the next level by partnering with Vendasta. Being limited to Stripe as a payment processor. I've had issues with Stripe that still need to be addressed but at the very least, I know that I have alternatives until my issue is resolved but this should have more flexibility. Want to start a marketing agency with little to no experience and great support? You hit jackpot! It gives me the ability to market services that my future clients will need, for which I currently have little expertise. I can now offer features and services that I feel my clients would need without having to learn a whole new skill or go through the nightmare of trying to hire the right person. Vendasta fulfills all these needs. A novice Jedi learning the way of the Vendasta Force. As a wise Jedi Master once said, "Always two there are, no more, no less. A master and an apprentice." We hope you will take advantage of our Conquer Local Academy and Community, where you'll find courses and other partners who are eager to help you learn on your path! Thank you for your feedback on Payments with Stripe. We'll be sure to flag it to the appropriate team. Grateful for the review we are. Hmmm!

The idea is pretty much the only thing I like about Vendasta now. They used to have great SEO and local products and now it's just overpriced outsourced garbage. -Huge paywall for anything worth anything (like websites and automation) -Terrible customer service that lies to you -Salespeople who will blow up your phone every month for a year if you sign up on anything and then ghost you as soon as you put your credit card in -Removed all of the SEO offerings they had before, probably only offering them to the people paying 1k / mo. -The software is clunky and terrible. I'm a very tech savvy marketer, and I had trouble even buying a single product or adding it to my shop. Absolutely RUN from this company. Sales scalability for marketing agencies, customer service, reputation management. I realized the benefit of shopping around. Plenty of great other companies to use (like thehoth.com). Absolutely abysmal reseller services Hi there, Im sorry that your agency had a bad experience using Vendasta and that you were disappointed in our service. Our intention and passion is to ensure that partners are set up to succeed. We continue to expand our Marketplace with best in class vendors, offering many solutions at different price points to suit a partners budget. Vendasta does not mark up the pricing of the vendor offerings to ensure that our partners are receiving the benefits of our global buying power. Our top priority is ensuring that partners have a smooth experience with our platform so that they stay and enjoy Vendasta-supported successes well into the future. We offer comprehensive on-boarding as well as 24-hour On-Demand Success to ensure we're there when you need us. Your note is very helpful in helping us address potential challenges. The concept is great until you look under the 'hood'. They seem to have a wide variety of products/services, but that's where the positives end. Most white lable partners are not 'partners' at all. That is very much the case with Vendasta. I had perused their offerings to compare to our current offerings. At first glance, I didn't like their packaging. Further investigation showed horrible pricing that would have cut profitability to nil--just way too expensive for a white lable partner. So, I decided to stick with our current partners. I did like their Reputation Management program and spoke with one of their reps about the need of the client. He confirmed it would be a good fit for them and gave it a try for that one client. Big mistake. First, it took forever to set up the account. Second, I get into the program and learn that it will be double the cost from what I was told to do exactly what was needed--which had been explained up front. I'm not going to charge the client double the amount, so I lose money on the transaction. I ask to cancel the order and just got a run-around. Typical--another white lable partner who doesn't realize that they are an extension of your brand and simply don't care. Avoid them--seek other outsourcing partners. None--I had several conversations with a couple of their sales people and decided to sample them for one program. I was told a program would be a good solution for the client's issue. However, I was not told that it would take purchasing multiple programs to accomplish the task, thus doubling the cost. THey refused to give a refund. They are not 'in it' to help anyone grow their business. They exist because they know sales is the toughest part of the industry. They want to feed off of your sales and pay you pennies on the dollar. Not a good experience...can you rate lower than a zero?

Every day I will run into a platform issue, which delays my work by hours, days, and sometimes weeks. This affects our ability to get results in a timely manner and now we have to apologize to our clients for delays. Sometimes I would have a day filled with tasks and cannot waste any time, but of course, a task that should take 3 minutes on Vendasta ends up running into software issues, you try to fix it and get nothing, so then you call support (some minimum wage employee that reads off a script) well, of course, they tell you they cant fix it and will need to investigate so they tell you will get back to you soon (no timeline). Now they may get back to you the next day or in 3 months (yes it has happened before). Now that whole process, which was supposed to take 3 minutes has now taken 1 hour. Now imagine for every 1 hour you spend on the platform you run into a similar issue. Think about how much time you're going to waste trying to fix it and contacting support. This eventually affects the rest of your day's schedule and now you have to rearrange your tasks. This happens to me every single time I log into vendasta. They have the worst website developers I assume. Because their platform is slow, terribly coded, and causes many delays, it has made it hard for me to train my clients how to use it and also made it hard for me to get anything done that I just decide to avoid

I no longer feel comfortable endorsing any of the features Vendasta has to offer. At least their SEO vendors have been able to fulfill on their jobs and get my clients on page one, which has made the platform almost pay for itself. Nevermind all the headaches I've suffered as a result.
Vendasta promises to do a lot of things: marketing automation, white label, CRM, and task manager. It does NONE of those things. I strongly encourage you to check out GoHighLevel. From what I've heard from my mentors, it seems to be the software of choice for marketing automation. As for their "white label" features; run FAST in the opposite direction. Both of my experiences hiring their "white glove" team were horrendous; they spent $1,150 to produce $75 in revenue for my client. The next month, I spent $500 to produce $2,775 for them managing their Google Ads on my own. Their "social media posts" went against every single instruction I gave them on our launch call. Thank god that one was a trial run on one of my own accounts; the posts (stock photos with cookie cutter captions) were so bad it would have greatly embarrassed me to deliver them to a client. Nobody should ever pay for Vendasta. I write these reviews so that their sales team can't swindle future agency owners, small and large, like they swindled me. I will not stop

We are solving so many problems using Vendasta. Anywhere from sales to managing clients to staying on top of tasks and more. The biggest benefit I've realized is that everything can be streamlined. I give one link to my team from where they can sign in and pretty much handle 90% of their workload from.
Vendasta has many strengths with far little weaknesses. Overall, there are many things that we find to be most beneficial including the streamlined sales and success center which let's us turn a lead into a prospect and thereafter into a sale. Among that, the insane amount of products and features available just make it a better choice from competitors that we've reviewed. Most importantly: their team. In specific, our sales rep. is [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been incredibly helpful in our entire journey, he has helped me with pricing, navigating the different functions, and most of all: closing our first sale on Vendasta. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] acted as part of our demo team and showcased every part of brand Suite, which led to a client on the other side of the coast closing with us in just an hour. He did his job so well on point that the client ended up mentioning that "[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is a very nice guy, I'm glad I got to learn more from this demo". Vendasta has load of features, markets, integrations, and more; but most of all, it has a dedicated team.
Personally, we don't see many downsides to Vendasta. If we are to really have to choose something, I'd say an option to not choose Google Meet or Zoom in bookmenow would be awesome, if we could instead have a choice that had a phone number: we'd love it!

Quite good so far. As I use more of their services I will have a better idea.
AGS was too expensive and would not provide the training needed to get an agency started.
I appreciate all the training and the efforts the Vendasta team make to ensure the success of their partners. I would say this is one of the biggest aspects to Vendasta.
It feels that when we are outsourcing our work, the teams that take it on do so in a very impersonal way. Rather than working with someone who has a personal interest in the project, they seem rather detached. This is said more in regard to several of the services we have used, though we have had excellent personal interest evidenced by one of the logo teams we have worked with. Overall, instead of just doing the work, it would be nice if the teams doing the work were more willing to share their expertise and insights from being professionaly involved in what they do. As an agency owner, I may know the general idea of what we want in a website or what we need for ads, etc., but I am relying on the expertise and care of the team to do the work and keep me in the loop as to what is going on.

    Thumbs down.
This was the first company I came across that offered multiple services under a single white label umbrella.
The onboarding and monthly fees were much too high for what was provided. Training has improved, but wasn't great. The platform & interface weren't intuitive. The worst part was the customer service, though. I had a very negative experience when leaving the platform after fulfilling my 1 year contract. They tried to lock me into a longer contract based on when I downgraded levels of service (buyer beware). I had to actually provide the documentation that those were NOT the terms I'd agreed to after a prolonged hassle. I was treated rudely. I never received an apology or effort to make it right. They were more interested in nickel and dime-ing me than looking at my experience as a (too-highly) paying customer. There are now other solutions out there that are a 180 in price, platform functionality and customer service.

They offer a wide range of business services that can all work together to offer a client a complete solution. They consistent add new and compelling services as well. To top it all off, the people that support it all are all experts in their fields and are always available to lend a hand when you need it. Can't say enough good things about these guys!
The only thing I can really say that might be something I dislike, is the response time for issues and problems can take a little longer than I'd like. I understand that as a growing company that this is to be expected. It's really the only issue that I have. The software itself though, works as advertised. There are some features that are limited, but hopefully this can be addressed in the future as this team does listen to customer feedback.
