0.0The implementation was horrible one of the worst our organization has experienced. Continued experience with update issues. 0.0Very unstable - we went live in Sept 2019, migrated from WFC. WFC was a stable product that met our needs. WFD has a lot of issues - The first 6 months after go live, we had constant issues. We did not have a smooth payroll for months. Updates broke previously working features. We still have frequent issues, although I would say it's more like once a month as opposed to daily. 5.0Signing in and accessing your information is always an easy process
1.0It is very complicated even for a millennial and tech savvy like me. You have to download 2 apps instead of using just one which A LOT of other software has. You have to download UKG Pro first and then this app in order to simply log your time. Totally inconvenient!
1.0It is a cumbersome system, very difficult to work in and there is no support to learn the system.
2.0Integrations take hours - versus the minutes they took in Workforce Central. How do you move a system to a new database (Apache Cassandra) and use a new Integration tool (Dell Boomi) and sell this as a new and improved system. Features available in WFC are not available in WFD - can't sign off on all timecards in one action. When you view a timecard, it shows you the current day. Not many managers or editors are looking to just edit a single day. This default shows the developers don't know their customers SQL free DB means we cannot query our data. Have to develop dataviews or use provided APIs in their Data Extract tool. I seriously doubt all custom queries I wrote for WFC can be reproduced.

5.0We us UKG [Dimensions (formerly Kronos Workforce Dimensions)] for ALL EMPLOYEES. Contractual, substitutes, exempt, non-exempt. Employees can use a physical clock at building entrances, the mobile app, or the browser application. Tons of uses for us. On-site employees for emergencies, time off requests, grant tracking, importing absences from other systems, exporting data to payroll.

5.0UKG Dimensions is being used by our whole company. It addresses timekeeping, scheduling, absence management, leave management, performance, employee information management, employee life cycles, recruiting, onboarding, reporting, payroll, benefits management, and all employee management tools.
The scheduling and timekeeping functionality that reports off one another. The cohesion here. Workflows in the HCM side creates great automation with customization. The flexibility and control of access in Dimensions and HCM.
5.0UKG Dimensions is used globally across all locations and different business functions as the primary source of record for hours worked, time off, leaves of absences, and attendance. All employees, no matter where they are or what they do have access to their real-time time off balances, self-service time-off requests, and mobile access which encourage more accurate usage of time off benefits.
Highly configurable for different profile sets, making complex rules automated. Configuration is easy to learn and empowers system admins to become experts to easily implement changes and embrace release enhancements. Usability is the same regardless of how it is accessed (web or mobile).
3.0UKG Dimensions is used as part of our HCM tool across the organization and has multiple integration points to incorporate additional scheduling details to process payroll for anyone employed by the organization. It helps the organization maintain accountability with the employees and administrators as well as assisting us with charging specific activities at a project level, which alleviates some of the more taxing components of grant-related reporting.
Migrations are difficult. Integrations require a lot more effort initially. Unable to query our data from the cloud-hosted DB.
3.5Kronos Workforce Dimensions is currently used in all departments within the US and Australia. We use it to track hours worked for all the hourly and salary non-exempt employees.We also use the software to track hours worked by temporary employees. All the hours worked are accurate since the punches are recorded at the timeclock using a badge, and the interface flows through ADP for pay.
The training sessions provided in KMap should have more content to understand the concepts. The Interface outputs summary section can be improved to allow a printable format.
3.5Dimensions is one of our two time and attendance systems. It is used by 2500 users across the whole company. It is our time and attendance system.
Reporting. Dataviews - not all fields are reportable. Configuration - not all fields are date effective. Pending historicals.

4.0The project manager was great, keep us on target. We should have asked for a different rep for the time keeping piece. It felt like he was learning the product too. Also, he didn't understand the activies/work piece so we felt like we went in circles. Once it was setup it had to be re-worked because it didn't go to the activities piece. I believe had we know that the charging time to projects had changed we probably would not have selected UKG. Huge shoot to Chanelle Birch, she help setup our activities/work. I really enjoyed working with her.
4.0Better tracking of absences. Our company has adoption issues of using Scheduler in the past. But the new WFD was better than the old WFC, so we can use the scheduler better and be able to report off absences and lates for our Hourly employees. Then managers and HR can take corrective actions for employees that are often late or absent.
5.0The team that assisted us during our migration were very helpful and engaging during the whole process. They helped ensure that our system was set up and functioning exactly as we needed it to. They even added features for our person import that we previously didn't have, thereby removing quite a bit of manual data entry.
1.0I feel like someone has to be a web developer to claim that this app is "easy" to use. IT IS FAR FROM EASY. Very complicated. Overwhelming fields. Your employee and users will easily get lost in this tool. We've only rolled this out for 3 days and heard TONS of complains, questions, and negative feedback!
3.0The software has the potential to be everything that I could want in a workforce management system. However, there are still some adjustments that need to happen before that potential is reached. Kronos has been very responsive in addressing these needs and are actively working to improve the system.
1.0Not good. It has been extremely difficult and we were promised many things that never happened. The system took us backwards instead of forward. No one on one training. It is not a streamlined system and very confusing to function within system.
