I really like how easy the program is to navigate. The UI is very streamlined and I think the employee view is very clear and clean too. The support teams are very helpful and always available to assist. I also like how open to input they are; I've seen several suggestions and requests be built into the programming. Very intuitive and user-friendly. Reporting options are great and I feel like it works well on the backend, making it truly a one-stop shop for benefits management for my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The shift to the electronic feed and the lack of customization taken away because of this caused so many issues for our clients we had to discontinue our relationship. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It did not work. It took BenefitMall an extra week to move the enrollments to the carrier. I was extremely stressed. The staff have not received their card yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

EASE has been an efficient and accurate tool that enables our employees to make annual Open Enrollment elections quickly and confidently. We have been satisfied with how easy our employees find it to understand, and to use.

At the end of the day EASE simply never delivered a usable platform. I ended up with zero functionality and at each step EASE employees would blame someone else - Sales -Implementation - Development, etc.

We manage employee benefits for almost all our clients through the EaseCentral platform. As the broker, EaseCentral works very well for use. But more importantly it works well for the employer and their employees. All the "parties" use EaseCentral and it works fabulous for offering, enrolling and administering the benefit program throughout the year and at open enrollment time. EaseCentral can service a 4-5 employee company all the way up to hundreds/thousands of employees.
User interface is easy on the eyes. People seem to be able to pick it up really easy, it's simple to operate and has a nice clean look. It's insurance carrier & service vendor "agnostic"...works with every insurance carrier we work with and has numerous preferred vendor partnership with some of the other services our clients want access through all from EaseCentral. Great support team when questions arise. Pretty self explanatory.

The whole organization used Ease for this years open enrollment. It allowed us to have an electronic open enrollment that was easy for our associates to use and easy for me to manage. The tracking capabilities made it convenient to track progress and pending completion. It also allowed you to view the enrollment as the associate if they had trouble moving between screens.

EaseCentral is being used as our benefits portal. Human Resources uses this system with our employees for open enrollment, and also for newly eligible employees. It file feeds the enrollments to our carriers after their enrollment is complete. EaseCentral has saved us a lot of time and effort when it comes to enrollment.

Setting a date parameter on a report isn't an option. Some things are not customizable. Some of the integration with carriers doesn't work as seamlessly as it should.

Some of the connected exterior apps and other services from the Marketplace seem complex. Honestly, there's not much that I don't like so it's difficult to come up with cons.

Overall: Building benefits into EASE is not easy. I have helped other agencies get started with the product. 1 agency had it for a year and their Admin person had watched Video after training video but had yet to get 1 group finished on the system where they could actually use it. We spent 2 days training them IN PERSON and getting them up and running. Recently, Ive been helping another agent - again NEW to the system. They seriously messed up deductions on about 4 cases, as well as employee applications as you have to be careful naming plans and checking that if an employee selects each plan the apps are marked correctly. In this case- Met life dental apps were not being marked when employees selected dental, due to the Plan name being wrong in the set up. Another problem was due to setting up employees with JOB CLASSES - But not offering the each plan to ALL CLASSES ... I explained to this agent Employee Class better Match the Benefit set up OTHERWISE - NEVER USE JOB CLASSES UNLESS IT"S ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. For new users - building groups into EASE can lead to a myriad of issues. This goes away once you become proficient - but the learning curve can be devastating to agencies as we can lose cases over errors.

Overall: The main benefit our agency has received from this product is the ability to streamline the enrollment experience for our clients. On of our top goals, as it relates to interacting with our clients and prospects, is to teach. We want people to deepen their understanding of healthcare, and their benefits options. Ease Central has helped us further our mission.
