4.5I looked at a lot of HRIS products before we went with GoCo. The feature set was great and it had everything we needed for our growing company, at a great price point. However, the thing that was the tipping point for us was their company culture and the way they treated and have continued to treat their customers. We feel our voice is valuable and listened to, and we are already involved in giving direct feedback in product development. 5.0GoCo has been excellent at customizing a program for our seasonal company - we are a theater company that does the bulk of our hiring from Jan-April for our 3 month Shakespeare summer stock season. Most of our employees work seasonally, many return year after year, and GoCo was the only company we researched that was willing to work with our unique schedule and hiring issues. 0.5The inability to be able to get a GoCo employee on the phone to discuss issues is frustrating. I called GoCo 10 times from July 20-Aug 1 and no one picked up the phone. Customer service needs to drastically improve if you want to retain customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1.0They will schedule meetings and sometimes just don't show up. Their integrations are actually extremely limited. The workflows actually have very little customization. For example, you can't remove unused sections at all or add certain crucial fields, such as payroll deductions. When rehiring someone, it creates an additional copy of that person. This is especially frustrating when you use a temp service and and up with a dozen copies of the same person. Customer support is very hit or miss - sometimes they'll get back to you immediately, and other times will just leave you on read and not get back until you poke or prod a couple of times. 5.0Easy to log in to clock in and clock out, look up PTO available and what is scheduled. I also perform a payroll sync Bi-Weekly which is fairly simple.
5.0I loved that it was very customizable and the implementation specialist were very knowledgeable about all aspects of the software.

1.0Sales rep completely misled our entire team. No integration capability with any of our systems. Very dishonest sales practices. Absolutely would stay away from this product as there are reputable and functional alternatives available. We have not been able to use the product at all. Their implementaiton team finally admitted that they could not integrate with our systems after the purchase was made.
2.0As soon as we switched to Goco, we entered a nightmare. We were charged for things the sales rep said we wouldn't be (the company executives sent a very nice apology about that misunderstanding), the functionality did not live up to its promises and has lots of annoying little UI issues, and it is like pulling teeth to get a response from my account rep (I received a separate apology directly from the exec about that). From my perspective, Goco is suffering new-startup syndrome where they overloaded their staff and make promises they can't possibly deliver. I do believe that my Customer Service rep and all the staff are genuinely trying their best and that the company has simply bitten off more than they can chew.
4.0The only thing that I dislike about Goco is the way it gets buggy sometimes, especially their new features.

8.0GoCo is our Ben admin system and links into execupay for payroll. It’s a good system overall but their customer service has lately gone down hill. We tried to apply for the Employee retention tax credit through them and they didn’t actually file it despite us filling out the paperwork several times.

5.0Overall: We currently meet with our GoCo representative once a month to 'check-in', and have done so since we switched to GoCo years ago. This says ALOT! They want feedback on the good, the bad, and the challenging, and they ALWAYS act on it. If I have a question that I send to our representative, I have no doubt that I will get a response within an hour. I've said this before, and I'll say it again, it's so nice to work with company that aligns with our core values. They are definitely a great team that Gives Customers What They Want and Builds Something Special every step of the way!
5.0Overall: Overall we've had a great experience with GoCo. There were some rocky moments but the team at GoCo has helped us get through and now it's a system that is really interwoven in our daily operations.
